No more daily dehydration headaches!
THIS THING IS AMAZING. I've had it 1 month now and not had a single dehydration headache!! MY BACKSTORY: I carry a water bottle everywhere and would sit with one on my desk at work daily, but I rarely would drink out of it. I simply carried it because I would suddenly feel thirsty if I didn't have it. I get a headache around 2-3pm daily like clockwork. I suspected it was dehydration since the rare occasion that I did manage to drink enough, I didn't get a headache, but I couldn't keep up with it. I tried various tracking systems, including the ones with the time printed on it to pace myself. None of it worked because I physically needed a reminder. I thought about setting a timer, but that would be cumbersome, disruptive, and not dynamic enough to shift with daily life. I found this reminder and was hesitant to pay $25. But, it was a lot cheaper than "smart" water bottles and I knew taking Motrin and/or Tylenol daily was not healthy. The cost was worth it after feeling this headache-free relief!! SIZE: It has a silicone band that fits well on my water bottle, which is about 3 inches in diameter. It definitely has enough stretch to fit on a 1L Nalgene, for example. The device itself is about 1.5" tall, 1" wide, and 3/8" thick. HOW IT WORKS: I timed it when I first got it to see how the cycling works. Every ~35 minutes it strobes for ~5 seconds, then is off for ~5 seconds, alternating that cycle for about a minute before it resets the 35 second clock. I usually grab it within those first 5 seconds, but if you're not around and it does 2 full cycles of 35 min/1 min flashing, it turns off until you drink again. It also resets the clock every time you drink and has a light that blinks whenever it registers you taking a drink. It's gotten to the point that my body has internalized the clock a bit; on many occasions it started strobing as I was reaching for a drink on my own! MY CONCERNS DIDN'T END UP BEING ISSUES: - I thought the "just drank" light would get set off a lot carrying my water bottle around, but that hasn't been an issue. - It also has a light sensor, because it doesn't go off in the dark. I can keep it on my nightstand with no issues - My water bottle has a straw, so every once in a while my sip is a little too still for it to register, but that's been only maybe 5 times in the last month. - It's also perfect everyday use outside of the office - I don't have to deal with alarms and it dynamically updates as I drink. - I keep it on all the time, and haven't worried about it falling off. I did take it off twice when I want on a day-long outing where I knew I'm going to be drinking a lot on my own and didn't want it to interfere with the frequent in and out of my backpack.

ADHD? Buy two.
My new ADHD med is working, but dehydration is a common side effect, so the water drinking habits that I had previous to the medication didn't cut it. This lil guy is great! I can be at my desk really engaged in work and the notification is just subtle enough that you see it from the corner of your eye without it being overly bright or distracting. It alarms about every 30 minutes, stops alarming (power off) if you don't drink for two cycles, so you can keep it at your bedside and turn it around before you sleep, and then take a drink when you wake up to reactive it. If you want to reset the time, just take a drink. The band that comes with it is durable enough that it should fit most water vessels. The function is so simple that I imagine it would work for any other device where you need a gentle 30 minute reminder.

Definitely drinking more water
Like many people in the reviews, I suck at drinking enough water and have tried many things to help with that (water bottles with the time markers, phone alerts every so often to drink, getting a massive water bottle to help with not having to refill at all during the day) and naturally, nothing has worked.. Now, while this isn't perfect, it's definitely getting me more in the habit of just drinking more often and leading to bigger sips when I do drink, to eventually reach my daily goal over time. Obviously there's caveats to using this - it has to be in front of you all the time, and your room can't be too dark. Ultimately its very easy to use, just slip the band on your bottle of choice, then slip the clip over the band. Make sure the device is directly under where you're taking your sips!!! I made that mistake when I first got it, it was slid around the side a bit, maybe 30, 45 degrees, and it would only sometimes register the drink (with a slow blink) or it would take like 10 seconds to register it. As soon as I slide it directly under where my mouth goes, it registered every sip immediately. If you're like me, sitting at a desk all day deeply intrenched in your work, it's subtle enough not to fully pull your attention away from what you're working on but noticable enough to let your autopilot brain reach over to grab it for a drink real quick. And to note a feature that's both good and bad, for anyone concerned about it flashing while you're sleeping, it will not do it as long as the room is reasonably dark (including day time with your shades drawn). The problem with that is, on days where it's really stormy, where it's pretty dark outside even mid day, and you're like me and don't like turning inside lights on even when it's dark cause you're staring a screen, then it won't flash. But that's not a problem for most people. Ultimately I think it's been worth it, as it's been the only thing that's helped me consistently keep taking sips during the day.

Works for now, but concerned about durability
This thing 100% has been helping me stay on top of drinking water. The only thing I don't like is that there is no way to stop/pause the flashing - so I can't have it on the bottle in my bed room and there is no way to turn it off when not in use. The fact that it has been going off ever since unboxing makes me worry about battery life and durability. Without the ability to turn it off to ensure longevity, I am not really sure it is worth the price point as I am thinking I may need to replace it sooner than later.

This really encourages my daughter to drink water, as we all know hydration is key! I love this! By the way this can also be used for adults or teens who need to be reminded to drink water! This is for all ages!

Dudaba con este artículo pero la verdad es que funciona,te recuerda beber, claro está que tienes que tener la botella de agua donde tú te encuentres ya que no emite sonido solo una luz pulsada, pero realmente a mí me funcionó
