Generally as described and advertised, but...
When I opened this roll of twine the end of it was frayed, which showed me that it must fray quite easily. The frayed end looked to be made of very thin flat strands of ribbon, like tinsel you put on a Christmas tree, only much smaller. I was expecting some sort of fiber construction. However, other than the fact the ends can easily fray and come apart, the cord seems strong and sturdy when it remains woven together.Nice gold shine.

Great for couching
I got this to couch--it looks very bright and is easy to work with. I haven't washed it yet, so don't know how it will do in the washer.
