Bought to use to make sure when I’m putting up shelves or hanging pictures I’m not going to go through anything. Easy to use, comes with battery. Easy to hold it’s a good size. Nice and lightweight. Electrical detection. value for money

I've never owned one of these before and didn't want to spend too much. Only used it in an area where I was semi confident of what was behind plaster board. Followed the instructions to set it up which was relatively easy and after a couple of uses stated to build up a good picture of where the studwork was that I needed to fix into. Have since used it to detect electric cables and water pipes with success. Only giving 4 stars as build quality could be better but overall very good value for DIY use.
