Well Made, Works in Partial Shade, Can Charge 24 Volt Batteries
I use this panel to charge a pair of 12V batteries wired in series. The panel connects to the batteries with a Victron charge controller good for 15 amps and 75V. The panel is as described. It is rigid and mounted in an extruded aluminum frame. The frame has numerous holes in the back face for connection to supporting structure. The standard solar plugs are clearly marked for polarity. The panel is heavier than I expected - almost 16 pounds. I can say with confidence that the panel is charging my batteries but I cannot vouch for the exact power output. An important distinction of this panel is that it works well is uneven illumination. My panel is in the shade of open trees for part of the day. The dappled light that gets through is used by the panel. I will buy this panel again if I have a similar application.

Absolutely the greatest panel per watt
This is my second one after 1 year of ownership buying another panel renogy shadowflux 200w. After having it for a year i am delighted to see it perform as if ijust bought it. Providing with 175 watts out of 200w possible. That is a very good solar panel. I have the Anker foldable 400w panel and that puts out the same at 150 to 170 from a 400w Anker panel. If you have the option of buying one i highly recommend getting this one it does not dissapoint.

Customer Beware
While I was pleased with the performance of the panel, the glass suddenly shattered while installed on a Minute Man stand. I requested warranty service from Renogy and was told the manufacturer’s warranty “only covers damage identified before first use or damage that occurred during shipping”. That’s not a warranty in my opinion. I will continue using the second panel I purchased, but will never buy anything from Renogy again, and I urge everyone else to think twice.

working very well
Installed in fall 2025 and they're working great. The initial design with powered actuators tilting the panels to optimize power generation got too complicated, so I compromised by installing static angles ± 4"-7" above the roof which allows rain run-off instead of pooling, and avoids leaves and debris from clogging underneath which could exacerbate heat build-up. The RV's got a great rubberized roof, so if anyone's interested in a no-drill-holes solution: I used Versa-strut instead of standard strut channels, so in addition to the double-sided strip of Eternabond tape adhering the bottom of the strut to the roof, Versa-strut also has 1" brims on each side to allow additional downward adherence, and then applied self-leveling Dicor along the tape edges. Hard to imagine any of it will lift up altho time will tell, but out of an abundance of precaution I crimped 1/8" steel cables from the panel mounts to the existing roof railing to avoid leaving any smashed windshields behind me from free-flying panels. I had tested standard (non-shadowflux) panels a while back, and I believe these panels help to optimize power production.

A bit pricy, but good performance.
I’ve read other reviews and noticed some reviews noted performance in excess of the panel’s rating (that’s impossible since the rating was under exact lab conditions). In full Texas sun with panels true South and tilted per the month’s angle, my best case was 325W from 2x200W in series. The 16BB configuration is superior to my 4BB older panels, and there’s still output in partial shade.

Expensive but worth it
The Renogy ShadowFlux panels are fantastic, especially if you have a 24 or 48 volt battery system. Pulling over their spec at 260 watts at 2pm in North Carolina.

Happy with the panels
The panels came in damaged. Easy to install, the size of the panels were as expected. Connections are easy due to using standard connections, pre wired . Power output is still being evaluated at this time, have not had the opportunity to really get into the max output capability yet but the panels have been providing constant wattage so far. Renogy customer support was amazing

great product especially if on sale
I bought 2 200w panels, one panel arrived shattered so I contacted amazon & they sent another replacement and the two panels they sent in replacement were intact. So far so good, I am pulling 350w on average in phoenix in winter, 100w more than my 2 220w ecoflow foldable panels. Between the two products I really like how much more compact & lighter these panels are in comparison, & I don’t have to adjust as often if at all during the day. edit: I recommend buying separately, UPS told me they needed both panels I was returning in the same box & I had to spend $50 for a box to return something I didn’t break, panels I do have though work well.
