Linking this better Firestick remote was so easy, from our the box simply insert batteries (Alkaline Only) and then point at screen, hold the Home button down for 10 secs approx and then the remote and your Firestick does the rest. In addition to the standard controls, this remote comes with 2 Customisable buttons that you can point to any specific app you have on your stick, simply press the number button and keep pressed until a menu appears on the screen, choose 'your apps' then select which app you want it to open when you press the number, simple. This is handy for things like side loaded apps that you would normally have to go through 2 or 3 menus.You also get the 4 dedicated program buttons for your different streaming apps (Note: the apps have to 1) Be available in your country and 2) downloaded onto your Firestick.Another handy feature is the TV button, press what looks like a TV on your remote and this takes to you to all the free channels you can watch subscription free, handy.Overall a well worthwhile purchase, for under £10 which is far superior to the original Firestick Remote and also connects trouble free (some sold work ok until you switch to Freeview channels on your TV and then back to your Firestick when the remote keeps asking to be updated but doesn't when your select ok, annoying!).Buy, buy, buy while it's available, you will be glad you did.

Absolute garbage. The large circular button now needs a good hard push to work. Very unrespnsive. Dont waste your money on this cheap garbage.

Every time you turn on the TV and fire stick there is a message saying that the remote control is updating with an important security update and to wait a few minutes. It doesn’t matter how long you wait, the message remains. You have to go to the Home Screen to get around the message. The remote then works fine. It’s a work around, but it’s a little frustrating. Otherwise, it works exactly like our original Amazon controller, including voice control, which given the price makes it reasonable value.

What can I say. Its not an exact copy of the original but its too close to be a problem.Every function works so far.No batteries included.

This remote was very easy to setup using the clear instructions supplied. It now works very well with my Amazon Fire TV. I am very happy with this as there is now no custody battle for control of the TV remote, since we both have a working remote now.

Why press once when you can press 10 times? Cheap and works poorly.
