Lily Lolo Corrector - Blush Away - 4g

Not bad for this money

I bought this together with the PeepO as an anti-redness colour corrector. Overall, I prefer the PeepO as my skin tone is slightly warm/yellow and the PeepO blends in with or without foundation. Blush Away leaves my skin looking slightly ashen, but is easily corrected with a light dusting of mineral foundation. Overall, I'd say that this is best if you have substantial areas of high colour, such as acne, that you really want to neutralise before putting foundation over the top, or if you have very pale, porcelain skin, in which case you can probably use this without foundation. I'm using the Blush Away slightly more at the moment, as I'm quite pale (end of winter!).

I took me some time to get used to the packaging as I'm not familiar with loose-powder form products, but it's so efficient at covering redness (no matter how bad, and it gets pretty bad for me in the winter!), that I hardly use anything else on my skin now. That's another thing that took me a while to get used to: the green tone of the powder might be subtle in the container but it really sucks the red out of the skin immediatly so the secret is to be very light-handed. Keeping that in mind, the whole 4g will last a good several months. It blends well and doesn't mark unless you have applied too much powder. If you have a yellowish or ivory skin tone I recommand mixing it with the Peep-O yellow corrector.

Hrm, I'm on the fence about this one. In one aspect, it DOES reduce some redness on my face which is a godsend with skin problems. On the other hand, it makes me look a bit like the Wicked Witch of the West as it is GREEN. As background, I do have very fair skin proned to irritation, spots and redness (lucky me). It's pretty noticeable to anyone looking at your face, so it kind of defeats the point of concealing imperfections.I wouldn't recommend this product to my family, but if you are an expert at makeup perhaps you'd have better luck than I at blending it in.

I am a typical scot with very pale skin but a very good blood supply! I have generally steered clear from this kind of product as it never looks right to me. I found it easy to use, I didn't look green but it subtly toned the rosiness down. I think if you want to look a bit less florid of face but to retain a fairly natural look this is a good investment.

I purchased both this and the yellow version as I wasn't sure which one would better work for my red-purplish under-eyes.I am not 100% convinced about this: the green shade is very faint, and the result very white - no glow, no warmth: really white - so consider your skin tone when buying it.I think my under eyes are a shade of red too dark to work with this, I can see it working best on very red skin such as spots.

I have rosy cheeky and thread veins. I decided to try this product along with my lily lolo foundation. I wish I had purchased this earlier. It completely covers the redness. You could not use it on its own as it makes you look pale but under a powder pounds to on it works perfectly. I apply with a small brush to the red areas then do the usual full face sweep with my foundation. I am delighted with the results. This is now a staple for my make up bag.

I love this product as a base, and I always use it straight after moisturising to take the edge off my spots. The green tinge works well to lessen redness, and it gives good coverage. I'll definitely continue to buy this product.
