Okay not perfect!
Not a bad strap but it keeps the iPad very raised which in a small plane can be tight and can hinder yoke movement. For other applications outside of aviation I think it’s okay but I am not sure about how long it will last.

As advertised, nice tilting mechanism, short strap
I got this to save me from having to hold up my full-sized iPad while I'm doom-scrolling. It does fit around my leg just above the knee, with the band firmly tightened. At that point, the circumference of my leg is 16 inches almost exactly. The band fits. I could likely be perhaps two inches chunkier there, and it would still be ok. More if I had better circulation and could cinch it up a bit. And the band is wonderful - thick, great velcro, doesn't roll. But, if someone wants it higher up their thigh, or they have a thicker thigh than I have, it might be a tight fit. Or be unable to fit. My iPad has a 13" display. It fits in the grabber, extended all the way. I have to kind of fit the bottom in, then tip the top "claw hands" back and pull them over the edge. That said, it works well, and I have had no worries about my iPad being damaged in that process. It also shrinks to fit my kindle nicely. There are two tilt mechanisms, both fitted with dials to tighten, when you find the right spot (side to side, angled down from level). They're easy to use, and can be tightened with my arthritic fingers, no problems. I like this. So why only four stars? I want it to tip towards me, and stay closer to my knee. The device isn't centered on the band if the device is larger. It extends either somewhat above, or below, depending on whether you have it strapped velcro to the left or to the right. The thing is, I want the device to extend up past my knee, and tilt down towards me. It only tilts the other way. So I can either have it lower, and tilt towards me, or I can have it higher and tilt away from me. Grrrrr. I want to alleviate neck strain by having it higher, and still pointing at my face. How else can I doom scroll in comfort? To be fair, this is for pilots, not for couch surfers. But hey, there are more of us. So - it's stable, easy to use, fits a wide variety of sizes, tilts super easily and well. It just doesn't quite move the one direction I want it to be able to move. Too bad they don't let us give portions of stars. I would totally go 4.75.

This is exactly what I needed!
Just what I needed! This is going to let me use my iPad mini for scoring when on the stand reffing volleyball.

Not worth it
Way too clunky and the leg strap was microscopic - would’ve cut off my circulation in flight.

Versatile, easy to use
It’s a great product. Holds my ipad 10th gen with a case perfectly! I just wish the actual mount of the ipad was made to be a little more durable, it’s made out of plastic and even though it works fine it feels like it could break easily. Other than that it’s versatile in the different types of configuration it can hold my ipad, and it’s nice and customizable. The strap also fits around my thigh well, nice and snug.

Must have for a pilot.
My son uses this every time he flies for his iPad.

nice one
good and sturdy but overpriced

Ideal for SkyDemon on an iPad. This is priced at a much lower point than others you might buy from (example: Pooleys). I think it's totally fit for purpose though. This fits around my iPad and allows SkyDemon to be used more conveniently in the cockpit.

This is a great idea. The top right corner isn't quite making contact with my 10" tablet case which means it isn't as secure as I would like. For prolonged use it would be nice if the strap were longer. I can't see it fitting round a 33" thigh. The most stretch mine will do is 25" Relaxed it was 20" The stand is just a bit too wide for my phone which is a shame.

This is a great design for using your tablet in the evening when you want a hands-free set up. The strap is quite tight though, so do measure your leg before ordering. It is a clever idea but made in very cheap materials which I don’t feel warrant the price.
