I love this case, so much, I bought another one. I bought a pre-owned macbook pro early 2011. It was a steal considering the pawnshop did not know that it had been tricked out by the previous owner and priced it based on original specs. Anyway, it did have wear and a few dings. So I found this case. It covers the entire outer shell of the computer and the best part for me was that the color is not opaque but frosted. So the scratches and dings remain totally hidden, while the apple logo shows through. This thing was easy to put on and fits pretty snug. I will say that the plastic does feel a little fragile and It's will require handling with care, but you should handle a laptop computer with care. The keyboard protector is pretty nice and the feel is comfortable. I have large fingers and was concerned that the template would negatively impact my typing, but it did not. The color really makes my laptop look cool and stands apart from my co-workers who have similar ones on the job. The only issue I have with the keyboard protector is that the lettering on my backlit keys are are less visible at night. But it's removable and pretty easy to go back on. In my opinion, the case is still a bargain without the keyboard protector. I give it a 4. I think for the person careful with their stuff, this case is cool, but if you work on an oil rig, please get a body glove case instead.

Yes! I admit I have an old Mac Book but I love it and I have updated it too. And it’s works great for my job and this case gave a nice look and protection to it. My previous one just died 😜 I wore it out. The color look lovely 🥰

this case is very impressive. I bought the clear case because I have sticker art that I want to be visible.The case itself is hard , thick and study, it holds my 2010 mac book well. I wish i got this earlier so I could have prevented scratches.I highly recommend this product. It will not tear or break.

My old computer case had been cracked for a long time so I finally decided to just get another one so my computer no longer looked like a piece of junk. I ordered this case with 2-day shipping and it got here on time without any damage. The case goes on easily and feels like a soft plastic as you would expect from the description. The keyboard cover is a little odd to type with but I've never had one before so it probably just takes a little getting used to, but it's very bright and colorful. Color of the case is as expected, I love it! If someone wrote a review saying that the case didn't fit, I'm assuming they didn't check the model number of their Macbook to make sure it matched the one in the product description because mine fits just fine. I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro 13 inch (with CD drive) and it fits like a glove. Not sure it's the kind of case that's gonna last for years and years but hey for the price it will work well as long as you are careful with your laptop and keep it in soft cases when you take it out of the house. People have to remember that these types of cases are more like cute, study scratch protectors not shock proof otter box cases that you can toss around and have it remain in pristine condition.

This is actually worth the price. I got the turquoise one for my Totoro stickers. I am happy that I got it to make it look better.

This review is for the “ RUBAN Case Compatible with MacBook Pro 13 inch 2012 2011 2010 2009 Release A1278, Plastic Hard Case Shell and Keyboard Cover for Older Version MacBook Pro 13 Inch with CD-ROM - Crystal Clear” ordered 5/15/2022 for $13.99I had this old InCase laptop cover that for whatever reason the lid portion became sticky. Even if I washed it the lid felt tacky like it was evolving into some huge glue trap you’d use to catch mice. Anyway, it needed to be replaced so I got this.I love that it came 100% scratch-free and lint-free. Zero blemishes. No pre-cleaning required before attaching to my old early-2011 MacBook Pro.It fits and feels securely fastened despite one of the tabs on the rear not fully seating down. My old laptop cover used to wrap up the bottom back side to cover the silver areas to the left and right of the black part (seen in one of the pictures) . This one doesn’t and actually stops short of covering the entire bottom. It still stays on however it affords zero protection on the back and rear corners. Definitely not a deal breaker for me, but it may be for others. If I traveled with this laptop (it just lives near a couch in the family room) I’d have to seriously consider if this is “the one.” The side protection is designed in a way that all ports and disc slot are accessible…I got this primarily so I can add photos to the top lid and it definitely works. Now let’s just see how long it holds up. If it has any structural fails or warping due to heat, I will update this review submitted on 5/18/2022.

I needed a new case for my laptop and I picked this one because of the reviews mainly. When it first arrived my first impression was the that the color was amazing! Although as the days went on I noticed that the case itself had some weird like stains on it presumably from where I touched it. Mind you my hands weren’t dirty when I used it and I don’t ever eat around my laptop so I was really confused. Upon trying to clean the case it didn’t work. I’m not at all sure what to do or if there something specific I should be using to clean it. I tried figuring out what specifically was causing the stains and it just seems to be where I touch it—-literally I can just touch it and it’ll leave a hand print or a finger print. It bothers me that it doesn’t looks clean but that’s why I gave it a 3/5. Aside from that it fits perfectly and the color still looks nice!

I love the case, how it fits is excellent, but the real standout is the quality of the keyboard cover quality. It is so good, soft and sticks to the keyboard naturally without any additional adhesives. I am now looking for just the keyboard cover for my other new MacBook. Any suggestions? I can't find the brand page to search for it on its own.
