I am a professional gardener and have use these extensively all year round. If used correctly and cleaned after each day, they stay sharp for several years.Unlike other many other brands, the spring doesn't fly out and they don't lock when you don't want them to. I used to use the most Popular brand but they just don't stay sharp for so long and these outlaws them by about 4:1 well worth the higher price.

Been using these commercially for about a month, I like 'em a lot. They really are sharp and make a fantastically clean cut, even after trimming up bamboo canes. The hard-chrome finish is easy to keep clean and doesn't get as gummed-up as plain steel, a quick wipe and all the sap residue comes straight off. They're well designed, and don't pinch the side of ones thumb as a similar-sized offering from one of their Swiss competitors occasionally does.Anyone considering a pair should be aware that these are BIG secateurs,if you hands are on the smaller side I think that the 8 or 7 inch might suit you better ( I take a 9-10 glove, these are at the limit of my reach).Oh, and I like the automatic unlocking catch, too.

Best secateurs I have ever had and that's after 50 years of garden work. They're strong and cut through larger material than I would have expected. They are sharp and cut cleanly, too, which is important.

Hi ,all, I have FELCO,BERGER seqateurs,and I can say this one outperform them all, best locking mechanism on the market, very good size for hand size 9 ( for me its most importment as I am pro landscape gardener,somtimes working with them 8 hours non stop) Must buy for PRO OR BUSY GARDENER.

These are made just like felco that I use effortless and very smooth cutting action and very good ergonomics in your hand I highly recommend this product
