Canon RP adapter is for the Macgyver Camera use
The adapter is a bit tricky to get secured in to the cameras body. Once it is in, the ability to use EF and Efs lens is flawless. I use a Canon RP and I'm saving hundreds by being able to use older Canon lenses.

I got this in March, since getting this it’s caused my camera to overheat, and it had already tore up. I would not buy this again!

Tripod shoe very handy.
The adapter works fine with Canon EF and EFS lenses adapting to Canon R7 body. The tripod mount shoe is helpful for balancing telephoto lenses amounted on a tripod.
