These scissors are sturdy and sharp, and a convenient, compact size. I wanted round-ended scissors to remove matted hair (“doggy dreadlocks”) below our Pomeranian’s ears and at her elbows. A squirming dog could be badly jabbed by ordinary pointed scissors, but I’m confident that these are safe to use on her.

Excellent quality. Why do so many others cost so much when you can get these British made scissors at such a reasonable price? I'm not using them for medical purposes but they are perfect as nail scissors (even big toe nails which usually bend so called nail scissors) and for general purpose scissor work around the house

Highly polished stainless steel finish and smooth to handle. Although they are blunt-blunt for safety, two things need noting: 1. The square edge of the handle is quite sharp and could give the skin a painful pinch; 2. the pointed end of the blades are also sharp. They just need rubbing over with some fine emery cloth or paper (P 400 grade) to blunt them down a bit, and you will have a great pair of scissors. The clip might be a little tight to fit over a front pocket and I didn't want to prise it open more in case the weld broke.

Ordered this item hoping the different style clip would be more effective. No luck. You just get sent the same old clip version
