Wanted to buy this because I left my favorite/best tail comb at my mom's house. And she lives states away. On top of that, the nearest Beauty Supply store near me is farther away (I am in a predominately white area). So yea, that's just the struggles of being black in the middle of nowhere.Hence the title, writing this review on behalf of all my black womens out here buying hair products/tools on Amazon. I definitely did NOT want to buy this product initially because all the rave reviews were by white people who already had semi-straight hair with minimum frizz. Meanwhile, I'm on the other side of my laptop wondering if this thing can straighten my hair bone silky straight (not stiff straight) on a silk press. Ladies, this comb did definitely did it's job in getting the look I was aiming for. Like, I was expecting it to cause my hair to be straight-but stiff with no silky movement-but it worked.So for ALL my black ladies out here make sure you get this comb if you want a silk pressed bounce silky hair look.-will make sure to post pictures soon-

There is a bit of a learning curve to figuring out how to hold this comb without it twisting in your hand (have to grip it at this base, right before the metal piece starts) but once you get the hang of it, this comb serves it’s purpose. I bought it so that I had a straight edge for cutting my hair. Most other combs have thin teeth on one end and thicker teeth on the other, and the height of the teeth are at an angle. This comb is uniform in both areas. It does better if you are using it on wet hair. Still, I recommend it for cutting bangs, regardless.

I've had plastic pintail combs before but never one with a stainless steel pintail. I really didn't know what I had been missing but after using it I'm loving the precision the stainless tip makes. This was a great find.

Bought these because I had purchase a similar product, red in color, a few years ago. This combs teeth broke after the first use. Would not buy again.

After doing some research on how to part my hair i found this type of comb was a must for my essentials when hair styling my hair i have wavy hair and normal combs mess up my curls so this was a good option for me you dont need to spend much to get a good comb i highly suggest it very happy with my purchase.
