I got these to replace some old landing gear leg extensions that popped off while flying up in the mountains. Needless to say, they were gone for good. These are so much better. When I first took them out of the package, I was a little put off by the fact that they actually had little flaps that snap over and lock them in place. I thought it would be a pain, but it only takes a few seconds to install them and once they are on, they are not going to pop off accidentally. I love these and will not fly my drone without them. I have an original Mavic Air drone.

Excellent. Ordered this the same day I ordered the Mavic Air after upgrading from the Mavic Mini (an outstanding drone for beginners like me). I installed these in the Air before my first flight and am glad I did. On my first flight I accidentally hit the land button instead of the land at home point button. The Air came down and landed on my steep driveway and skidded the entire 25 feet to the base of the driveway which is gravel. These legs prevented what most certainly would have been damage to the underside and possibly to the camera. They elevate the Air perfectly and look great too. Removal is quick but I leave mine on because I store the Air in the bookcase and mainly fly around our property. They do prevent the legs from folding so if you want to place Air in case they need to be removed. The clamps prevent them from falling off at flight. I’m very pleased with these and thankful too.

Don't think about flying your MA on the beach without these. While on vacation, I pushed a flight a little too far and had to do an emergency landing about 1000' away from the launch position. It landed safely, but in the sand. Soft, fluffy sand. A tiny grain of sand (or some debris) got into the camera gimbal and despite my best efforts, I was unable to get it out and the gimbal would not operate in one axis smoothly.The drone was basically unusable for the remainder of my vacation. Was afraid I would have to sent it back to the factory but after I got home, I was able to dislodge the offending piece of sand and fortunately there was no permanent damage.Now I won't fly anywhere without these legs. They're a little bit of a pain to put on and take off all the time, but with the gimbal so close to the ground on the MA, you really need protection in case you have to land somewhere unexpected.

I bought these leg extensions to get my little Mavic Air above the grass or debris in areas where I'm just doing a quick launch and don't feel like getting the landing pad out. These work great and are very easy to install. I can have all four on in less than a minute. I did install a vinyl wrap on my drone, which makes the front leg extensions a little tighter to install, but they still fit. If mounted correctly, I see no reason to worry about these coming off in flight. They help keep dust and debris from being sucked into the fan on dusty landings also, which will extend the life of your drone and keep it from overheating. Well worth the money, and I highly recommend them!

I have tried different styles of leg extensions and while these are not the tallest, they are by far the strongest. Two of the legs on my Mavic Air are broken, dangling loose. Because these extensions have bracing arms on all four legs I am still able to take off and land, which the drone would previously not allow, sensing the instability of the broken legs.One star is removed because while the package did arrive in time for a weekend shoot the package contained only three legs, not covering the two broken legs I needed. I had to cancel the shoot and order a replacement and ship the first set back.

I ordered these after researching a few of the ones that are out there and the reviews don't lie. These give you all the clearance that my Mavic air needs on any terrain. They're pretty easy to put in and take off after a couple of times doing it. Only thing I have a small complaint about.. It's that the front lock brackets does significantly block the front lights on the drone. I wish there was a way around it, but with the clasp being the thickness that it needs to be, I guess that's a trade off.

This is a great alternative to carrying around a helipad. I have been able to launch from grassy areas without the props weed whacking my take off point. These legs will affect the aerodynamics of the craft, but it is minimal. Top speed seems about the same and general stability seems to be fine. I've logged quite a few hours with the gear attached and have yet to have an incident.
