Everyone knows that black electrical tape becomes a gooey mess after being on a car (in Arizona it’s worse). Enter this product!! Unlike the aforementioned c**p.... this stuff clings to itself better and doesn’t leave your hands sticky if you have to remove it. One caveat..... make sure before you use it that you don’t plan on having to undo it in the future. I had an occasion to remove some (I’d prefer being water boarded if given the choice) I had to remove it to add more wire to a bundle and this stuff resists the razor and comes off only when it feels like it...... it wasn’t fun. It covers wire well and protects them against shorts and abrasion infinitely better than the old stuff. This item is way more expensive but it gives a better look to the finished product as well as outperforming the old stuff. It can also be used to make a more solid grip on other projects. I wrapped some rubber handles I put on my 5 gallon buckets and they are now more comfortable to use. Use your imagination! It will work for more than just wrapping wires! Happy Shopping! UPDATE! 12/21 I wanted to save a few dollars so I paid less for a competitors product where I was sent five rolls about 1/2” wide and just under 50ft long. Well I got what I paid for. It was super c**p!! It was not as thick and barely stuck to itself. I used it under the hood and interior. The interior stuff started unraveling 2 weeks after install. Do yourself a favor..... this stuff is way better than vinyl tape but before you buy.... REAF REVIEWS!! One last thing if there’s more than one or two guys saying it’s not sticky or anything else...... ITS NOT!! Come here and buy this stuff. It costs more but it’s exactly as described and you won’t have to redo any of your work!😊👍

This tape is awesome to dress up harnesses. Electrical tape looks like garbage and if you have to undo the tape it causes a huge sticky mess. Plus, electrical tape is only good to 200F and in short order your engine bay will make a mess of it. This tape comes of much easier and leaves less residue. It looks awesome on the wires, my harness isn't an eyesore anymore. Cover up that junky looking split loom with this stuff, reinforce those sketchy butt connectors you put in your harness, tape the whole world. This stuff is great.

Great tape for my head ser or anything to do with computers

Wire casing on my 1999 BMW showed wire loom case rot. The old casing was falling apart leading to less protection for the individual color coated wiring inside. Black electrical tap is often the go to solution but it gets all sticky and gooey after time. This adhesive cloth fabric tape is just like you imagine. It looks and feels like black clothe. It goes on just like that electrical tap but the result is more satisfying. I used this up in the area between the gastank and the Handel bars and head light. It’s a very clean and organized look now. Just a few black zip ties to keep things in place but not put constraints on. Hope this helps. Bike is a 1999 BMW R1150GS. It would work on any application that has the same problem of plastic/rubber rot on wiring harness. Note: it’s cloth tape and not waterproof. So use only in dry areas it says on the instructions.

I was looking for a tape that I could use to clean up the wires associated with the audio upgrade I installed in my truck. I wanted something that would be neat and could be undone, if necessary. I also wanted something that would not introduce rattles or vibration noises. This tape was perfect for my project. It sticks to itself, but does not leave adhesive on the wires that I am wrapping. It is soft enough to not cause rattles or vibration noises. It was well worth the price and I will probably buy more for my next project.

I used this tape to wrap some electrical conduit in my car. Works well, but needs to be more adhesive.

This tape works great and has great adhesion. Looks OEM for the vehicle and is easy to remove if needed. Keeps wires nice and tidy, and used to keep backup camera wires out of the way when running along body.
