2" Dry Core Drill Bits for Cured Concrete with Rebar Brick Block Masonry etc 13in/330mm Drilling Depth,10mm Diamond Segment Height,2 Adapters - desertcart.com Review: Do not run your drill with the hammer function on..... - First and foremost, Some of the folks here need to know that although this drill comes with an sds hammer drill adapter, you DO NOT drill the holes with your drill on hammer mode. Your drill should have a switch to turn off the hammer function... you will destroy this, or any other diamond bit if you use it while in hammer mode. Most of the failures shown in these reviews are due to the bit not being used correctly. I bought this 1 1/2" bit for drilling through concrete block walls to run a 3/4" water line through a building. We did all the layout, and waited for the bit to arrive. we had 8 holes to drill. Finished all 8 holes in about 90 minutes, all working off a step ladder. Bit works well, and cuts nice with no water added. It was worth every dime. I would recommend to anyone for block walls. Review: Works very well - Worked awesome, cut a hole in my brick chimney extremely fast.

Would buy another one for sure. Great for the price point. Natural hard stone cutting was easy.
I cored out a big stone in my yard to make a splitting line. Worked great. Use water to cool the bit and assist in cutting during use. Great for the price point. Don't expect to use this commercially; it's not commercial grade. It did what I needed it to do. Made come cool marshmallow looking nugs and a rolling pin in the process as a bonus.

Cut 1/2" rebar imbedded CMU filled with concrete
I needed to drill a hole in a CMU wall for a pipe to run through and own a 65mm carbide hole cutter, unfortunately I hit rebar in the middle. Rather than try and cut thru the rebar with that I decided to get a dry core diamond bit. This one was the one that would be delivered fastest. Worked great. Don't know if I'll ever need to use, but was worth the $43 dollars to drill the hole properly as no one around me rents these. All I can rent is a wet core bit with water drill for more than double the price and would have had to drive 15 miles each way,

Did not work for me
Junk, don't bother. Tried to drill 1 1/2" hole in an 8" concrete wall - no rebar. Could only get 4" before the bit stopped cutting - waste of time and money. Had to rent a bit locally to get job done.

Awesome coring bit. Great value!
This bit exceeded my expectations. I hit solid granite on my final fence post and needed a 20" deep hole. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a one-time hole, so I rolled the dice on this coring bit. It's a masonry bit (3,000-5,000 psi) and I used it on granite (14,000-45,000 psi), so I wasn't sure it would work. It worked great. I used a rotary hammer for the drill, and kept the hole clean with a shop vac. I removed the core waste with a chisel on the rotary hammer every 1/2" to inch of depth. I had already spent 2 hours with the rotary hammer getting the hole 8" deep before I bought the bit, so the extra 12" of depth put me at 20" below grade. Make sure to use a drill with a clutch. your wrist will thank you. This bit is a 10/10.

Works, but won't last.
Works, but doesn't last. I was only able to drill three 8in deep holes in the rocks I'm trying to break up before the bit was worn out and hopping instead of drilling. I think if you're using it for sandstone or concrete it will last a little longer but granite was a bit too much of a challenge for it apparently.

Got the job done for a good price
Good price, decent quality. Did what I bought it for - cut out 4 inch hole for dryer vent into cinder block.
