Great show. Different in look to the original Avatar but still as good (so far, only on the second season)

its the New incarnation of the avatar( now from the water tribe) in a world that is changing very fast Balance is hard to maintain. i personally prefer korra to aang maybe its just the fact that shes not a child i also like the design much better as for the story its not as good,the stakes does not seem as high. and there is no longer a big bad hiding in some Castle

Love the series and it looks great on blu-ray. The box is very large for 8 discs, and they're separate to the box itself, making them rattle around inside. I also found them a little awkward to remove. The US version of this set is much slimmer so I'm not sure why this change is present. The art cards are a very nice inclusion, and the special features are much better than the last airbender series. There is commentary on every episode, lots of animatics, and various other featurettes. A nit pick I have is that the discs for the first two seasons have nice disc art, but seasons 3 and 4 are the standard blue discs with a logo. Minor complaint, just a confusing inconsistency. Overall I'd recommend this set to anyone. Its a fantastic series and a great way to get it all at a good price.

I really like this series. It's a wonderful release (different from the US release). I checked all the discs and work fine! The Art Cards are a very cool addition, too.

I bought the Bluray boxset, that is Amazon exclusive. It's just a giant blue box with all the blurays in it, and 4 cards with artwork. Not very special, but OK. Problem with the blurays is that book 2 for example is 1080i not 1080p. So on some players you get scanlines, very ugly. 1080p is better quality and should be expected. A bit disappointed therefor, they should have done better. It's watchable, and with most players it is filtered out correctly, but still.

If anyone is a fan of the original story then they will love this

The lack of a standard sized Blu-ray case is frustrating. This is literally a giant cardboard box with a ton of extra space and a small art book. While the art book is nice, this giant box is not very attractive as a collectors items and I have nothing to store the discs in other than the giant box.

Wer die aller erste Aavatar Staffel gesehen hat der sollte hier ohne bedenken zugreifen. Die Serie ist wie der Vorgänge auch ein Meisterwerk dass man gesehen haben muss. Die Serie wirkt etwas ernster, erwachsener mit dem neuen Avatar Korra. Korra strahlt als Multitalent (Avatar) Ihre Meinung auch so präsent aus. Sie ist gut kann alles beherrscht 3 der 4 Elemente, und da klommt der interessante Aspekt durch Ihre Ausstrahlung, Ihren Werdegang und wie Sie sich gibt kommt es schnell zu Situationen mit denen sie konfrontiert wird und denen Sie sich stellen muss. Eine Emotional geladene und sehr wende reiche Story die es in sich hat. Zu der Box selbst: - Sie ist wunderschön (Artwork) - Schön Stabil - Alles in einer Box Für Avatar Fans und die die es werden wollen, auf jeden Fall eine Kaufempfehlung.

Première saison disponible en anglais, français et espagnol. En revanche pour les 3 autres saisons exclusivement en anglais et en espagnol et sous-titres exclusivement en anglais. Personnellement ça ne me dérange pas.

I bought this as a gift for my best friend’s birthday. Once we hit season 3, it began to skip uncontrollably. There are no scratches on the DVD, so it’s a faulty disc. I am very upset I shelled out so much and it’s completely useless, and she now has to pay amazon and Nickelodeon to watch these episodes.
