If you or a loved one are serious about learning magic, do not pass this up.
I have worked as a magician for over the past decade, and when I found out that this video set was available as a download I knew I needed to snatch it up. I should say that before this I also owned the original dvd versions of these videos. If you want to learn strong practical card magic from one of the best magic teachers on this planet then you cannot afford not to get this. Every trick on the download is a real-world worker. You can build an incredible card magic repertoire with just the stuff here. It should be noted that every trick taught uses an ordinary deck of cards and no funny gimmicks. Some of the tricks take a little bit of practice, but in no time you will be doing tricks that actually impress people.I almost don’t wanna review this, because I’m afraid if other people buy this I’ll be out of a job.To review- This is one of the best collections of card magic on the planet. No doubt. For the price you will not regret it.The trick deck that comes in the package is pretty simple. I have noticed some people thinking that the trick cards accompanies the download, but this isn’t the case. The deck of cards that you get is it’s own separate product. It’s a fun thing to learn, but it isn’t the main draw here. In conclusion don’t think twice, buy this product. You’ll be kicking yourself if you don’t. Don’t worry about the trick deck of cards, or anything else that comes with it, but just the download alone is worth several times what they’re asking. I have made a bit money doing just the tricks from these downloads, so I can confirm this is definitely worth the investment. Thanks for reading,Christian Bryan.

Two DVDs full of great card tricks from Frank Garcia's books taught by Simon Lovell
OVERVIEW: With these two DVDs you get two great videos with performances and teaching by the humorous Simon Lovell. For each of about 70 effects spread over two videos, in each case you get to see Simon doing a performance (sometimes with spectators), each followed by an explanation.MILLION DOLLAR CARD SECRETSThis DVD is divided into four main sections, and here is a complete list of the contents:1. MILLION DOLLAR CARD MAGIC: Chicago Opener/Red Hot Mama (Frank Everhardt), Double Lift, Double Cut (Dai Vernon & Laurie Ireland), 3 In A Million (Frank Garcia), Switch Craft (Frank Garcia), Easy Aces (Al Leech), Hide and Seek Kings (Frank Garcia), One Head (Al Cohn), Dual Discovery (Frank Garcia), Uncanny Revelation, PeekaBoo Revelation (Bill Simon), Mental Cards, Key Card Control Technique2. CARD STUNNERS: What Aces? (Frank Garcia), Perplexing (Ed Marlo), Cutting The Kings, Simon's Delight (Dunbury Delight Vernon/Garcia/Lovell), Control Knockout (Bill Simon & Fank Garcia), Simon Lovell Card Stab (Frank Garcia)3. GAMBLING TREASURES: Poker Poker (Frank Garcia), Swift Poker (Allen Swift), Perfect Poker (John Scarne), Diamond Cut Diamond (Alex Elmsley), Winnepeg False Cut (Mel Stover), Ace Culling (Garcia/Lovell), Adding A Card (Dr. Jacob Daley), Simey Bonus (Simon Lovell), Secret Reversal (Dai Vernon), Cough Cover (Frank Garcia).4. AMBITIOUS CARD: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5SUPER SUBTLE CARD MIRACLESAltogether there are 3 hours 50 minutes of video footage on this second DVD (originally produced five years after the first), spread over three menus as follows:Part 1: New York Opener, Dave's Delight, Super Subtle Shuffle, Whimsy Aces, Crazy Aces, Speller Transition, Now You See 'Em, The Bullet Trick, F.T. Cut, Coming Up In The World, Topsy Turvy Deck, All Backs, Out of Town Kings, A Surprise Package, The Miracle Worker, Instant Change, Chicago StylePart 2: Faro Shuffle, Plunger Discovery, Triumph Location, Jackrobatics, Dingle's Elevator, Camouflage, King Kut, Supreme Reverse, Vanishing Deck, Happinstance, Ace Faroleros, Lady In My Sleeve, Optical Aces, Spectator Aces, Oops Again, Flourish Discovery, Ambitious Opener, Double Lift FeintPart 3: Double Lift & Change, Impossible Poker Stack, Peek Diablo, Super Special Prediction, Super Special Prediction (Variation), One-Two False Cut, Maximus Control, Double Peek Control, Simon's Double Peek Control, Daley's KnockoutAll the tricks have two sections, firstly Simon demonstrating the effect to the camera; then Simon explaining the effect to the camera. In the case of the first 17 effects, there is an additional performance of the effect for two lady spectators.SOURCE: In both cases, the content is mostly taken from the Frank Garcia books of the same name. These books, first-published in 1972 and 1973, are long out of print and almost impossible to get, but there is some excellent material here, and in his videos Simon covers some of the best routines from these two booksTEACHING: Simon Lovell is a skilled magician with a good sense of humour that adds to the watching experience. He goes through the performances well, and offers some useful options and ideas to follow when performing. The teaching side of the video has one weakness in that it goes through the material quickly. Simon Lovell does teach the tricks very well, but goes through the explanations quite quickly, so it may take some time to master the tricks. Also, some sleights and moves that are used for some of the tricks are not explained in the video, but if you are already well into magic and would consider yourself an intermediate magician, it is likely you already know them.VARIETY: There's a wealth of material here, and the overall balance of the content makes these two DVDs good companions. The first video has 75 minutes of magic, while thes second has 230 minutes of magic, so there's far more material there, but they are both excellent.DIFFICULTY: While many of the tricks are well within the grasp of beginners (although they will require practice), some also require knowledge of elementary sleights like the double lift, glide and other common moves, plus the use of gaffs like a double backer. An instructional resource like this will especially benefit intermediate magicians, and those who already have some experience with the fundamentals of magic, and are looking to expand their repertoire. But there really is something for everyone here, including relative beginners, and whatever your ability, you're almost certain to be able to find something useful.RECOMMENDATION: These two DVDs contain a fantastic number of tricks and moves, with an excellent variety of options to choose from. They don't only have tricks, but also cover some other useful tools like false cuts, controls, and moves to do with a double lift. The production quality is also excellent, with great lighting and filming - all very professional and clear. Watching Simon perform can be quite inspiring, and if you're like me, you'll find yourself itching to go out and perform some magic yourself. I'm happy to recommend this! - BoardGameGeek reviewer EndersGame
