Great cooling vest
I'm a welder working in a non climate controlled shop that gets over 100 degrees in the summer. I used a phase change cooling vest for a couple years and it worked pretty well. The cooling packs started to leak, so I ordered this vest.The vest is a little too cold with a frozen bladder with water. You kind of have to switch it on and off until it warms up a little bit(Not a big deal, you're saving battery and the switch is conveniently placed on the front.). Compared to a phase change vest the cooling doesn't last quite as long. You just open the bladder and add a couple scoops of ice and you're good to go again though.The battery lasts about 5-6 hours if running continuously. You only need to run it intermittently though. It lasts a full 12 hours the way I use it.The vest fits me well. And it has three Velcro straps on each side to adjust so it seems like most people should get a good fit. I can move around and work almost normally with it on. Sitting in a chair is a little weird with the bladder in the back but it's not a big deal.The quality of the bladder, lines, zippers, and vest all seem good. I've only used for a couple months but will update if I encounter an issue.

Works As Advertised
So I've been shopping around for a solution to keep me cool, and landed on this somewhat expensive item. I got it a few days ago (2020.07.27) and had a chance to use it today (2020.07.29). So, let's keep in mind that this is a review after one use. I was out for an hour on my motorcycle in 95°F/35°C heat with pretty high humidity.Instructions were easy enough to follow. The night before I knew I was riding, I filled the bladder part way with water. Froze it. Added a little more water to it when I was ready to go. It then sat for about an hour until I got to where I was going (to pick up my motorcycle). I put on the vest, and hit the power button. I felt cooler immediately.Generally in that heat, I'd be sweating like a stuck pig when I got to my destination, but I was pleasantly NOT dying of heat. Keep in mind, I was still warm (I had a sweat-wicking t-shirt on, then this cooling vest, then a shell (EVS Comp Suit) as my outer layer), but I WAS NOT drenched in sweat. For now, I could absolutely recommend this as a solid purchase.2020.08.02 Update: I was out on a 5-hour motorcycle ride in 93°F/33.9°C heat. One on full charge, the battery lasted the entire time (and probably could have gone more), but the ice in the bladder was all melted after about 3 hours. I'm not going to complain about that. That sort of heat + the sun beating down on the black vest for that amount of time, I'm pretty satisfied with the amount of cooling time it gave me.

Battery life and cooling are good. Stitching on straps is not
It works great, the tighter you can get it and the less wrinkled your shirt the better. The battery life is good and I have had no leaks. If you freeze the bladder it lasts longer.The stitching on the velcro straps SUCKS!!It has been consistently losing more and more of it and I don't know what I m going to do once that breaks but it has already lost the top and bottom stitching on one strap and is only holding by the side stitches.You have to make sure you have the top bladder strap really short otherwise the hose will kink.Consider ordering a size smaller than you think you need my normal size is xl/2xl and I have to pull the straps until half of them are overlapping

When it’s brand new it will feel like the threads poke you
Everything about its great except when wearing athletic shirts it seems to poke through near the seems and irritates you sides. It seems to get better once you’ve worn it multiple times

I love the idea and execution is almost amazing. I use this for tree removal, yes I'm a lumberjack and in florida mostly over 100 degree temps for 6+ months of the year and this works as described but cant give it 5 stars as half the velcro and stitching seems to snag and unravel easily which for an over 200 dollar vest should be the last thing I'm worrying about is the stitching and whether or not it'll even hold together through one season as I've only had a couple months??

Not for anything above 85 farenheit
Bought this for working out in Arizona heat and yeah.. it just isn't insulated well enough to hold cold temps past maybe a half hour if you're lucky... Just sits in the backseat now but it'll work for anything bellow 85 degrees as advertised for 2 hours before ya gotta chill it again

Took a chance and was not disappointed.
Excellent product. Manual is in engrish, but it’s pretty easy to figure it out. I just fill it halfway with water and stick flexible thin ice pack on either side of the bladder in it’s pocket. Lasts from break time to break time where I then swap the ice packs out for fresh ones quick and easy. Battery lasts a full shift.

I contacted the company through Amazon to ask about Warranty and NOTHING - No Reply, NOTHING I have waited a month for their replyI do NOT recommend the purchase of this VEST - it quit working at 13 months after purchase - and the seller ignores you

Tres éfficace.
Je l'utilise sous un habit de protection chimique, et c'est vraiment merveilleux.La durée de vie de la glace est de 1 à 2 heures mais je peu la recharger avec des icepack.
