High in protein complete bar
The cacao prima protein bars are by far the cleanest yet. Although they do have honey, the cacoa are the least sweet. If you don’t like a greasy tallow bar, put them in the refridge. There’s many options, if the grease gets on youre hands, just rub it in. It acts as a moisturizer. The only negative, is sometimes you will bit into a cacoa chip that’s to hard to chew. I hope the company rectifies this. If you like cacao, you’ll have to control yourself. And yes they have a different consistency then every other bars that prima sells.

These are Awful!!!
I REALLY want to like these because I'm trying to move completely away from seed oils in my diet. I occasionally need a meal replacement for when I travel or when life gets busy. So, when I found these, I thought they would be a great choice. My experience was this: 1) I opened up the wrapper and the smell was NOT good. Also, there was moisture in the package which I've NEVER seen before in a protein bar. The oily mixture got on my fingers and made it somewhat messy even before I took my first bite. 2) My first bite was NOT pleasant. I expected a chocolate flavor, but whatever the flavor was supposed to be, it definitely was not chocolate - at least not what I was expecting. Also, it was not really soft and not really hard, somewhere between. 3) After while the aftertaste was NOT good. I finished the bar because I didn't anything else to replace it today. Bottom line, I don't care how healthy this one says it is, it needs to taste good too. This thing was awful!!!! I wish there was a zero star option. Unfortunately, I bought 2 boxes. I will be returning one and not sure what to do with the remaining bars. I'm sure the scavengers at the landfill will enjoy them. My search will continue.

Best protein bar I have tried
Best protein bar around with the cleanest of ingredients. No guilt in consuming. It is a firm bar that you have to really bite into, and the taste is pretty good for not having sugar in it. Some can be a little greasy, but that's probably the tallow. Just grab a napkin with your bar.

A great bar with potential after getting some consistency issues sorted out.
When I first discovered these bars last year, they were wonderful, except pricey. I didn't mind the tallow issues. If you want clean ingredients without fillers and such, temperature is going to affect it naturally. The taste was great, though I didn't love the cacao nibs. Wished they made ones without. Lately the taste and quality has been quite variable, however, and am now questioning what I thought would be a staple for me. My theory is that they have had to outsource the manufacturing as they scale, which is happening rapidly, and the other makers do not make it quite right/the same. I hope this is sorted because it's a great concept and the ingredients are great, but taste consistency and quality need to be addressed. Good luck to Prima, cheering for you!

Conflicted!!
I wanted to love these bars so much! The ingredient list is wonderful and I want to support this company for going against the grain and making a protein bar with quality ingredients that is actually good for you. Thank you so much for doing this, Prima! But at the same time, I have to be honest and say that I don't plan to purchase these again. I bought the cacao flavor, and let me tell you -- they are indeed delicious -- however, they are so. hard. to. chew. This is the feedback from myself, my husband, and even my oldest teen. Just to break off a bite, I found myself having to gnaw on it with my back molars, kind of like a dog chews on a bone. Afterwards, because it sticks all over my mouth and teeth, I had to really clean myself up before talking to anyone. And I live in Houston, y'all. It isn't hard to chew because of the cold. I am super picky about clean ingredients, but even so, I'm going to have to pass on this. Please, Prima, please figure out the problem and make another clean protein bar that is easier to consume!

Don’t judge the taste based on poorly programmed tastebuds 😂
If you already eat healthy, I mean real healthy ( Whole Foods, meats, 1 ingredient foods, etc ) You will most likely love the bars like I do. On the other hand if you eat tons of carb/sugar filled protein bars, processed foods, etc you probably won’t like this. This is a simple food, not extremely sweet, and has a savory flavor.

To hard to eat :/ inconsistent with last order
I’ve ordered these before hence ordering them again and they are so hard - almost rock hard . Before they were much chewier with better consistency . The temp Was 30 degrees when they were delivered and they had been frozen before I brought them inside . I wonder if that was a factor- as they have thawed over 24 hrs and still too hard to eat . Non returnable because it’s a food item :/

Clean Ingredients, Taste Falls Short
I was genuinely excited to try this protein bar. In a market flooded with bars loaded with artificial junk, fake sweeteners, and mystery fillers, it’s refreshing to find one with such clean ingredients. I really wanted to support a company that’s keeping integrity in their formulations. Unfortunately, the taste is absolutely awful. The bar is oddly sticky (probably from the honey, which I normally love), yet somehow manages to be chalky at the same time. It’s this bizarre combo that makes every bite feel off. It’s such a shame because the nutrition profile and ingredient list had me hopeful this could become a go-to snack. Please, please work on the flavor and texture! With ingredients this good, it deserves to taste better so people can actually enjoy it and keep coming back.
