I'll give you a secret, just buy a kilo of citric acid and pour about 1 or 2 scoops in the water tank - same thing. This is literally just nicepy branded, packaged and measured citric acid powder. You can even find some cheap local bags - I'll stock up before yall go and buy them.

This descaling powder really works! I used it on my espresso machine and my drip coffee maker, and both came out clean and running smoother. It removed all the mineral build-up and improved the taste of my coffee immediately. I like that one pack has multiple uses — very convenient and good value. Just follow the directions, and it’s easy to use. Highly recommend for regular maintenance!

I unearthed an espresso machine my cousin gave me nearly 8 years ago. It had buildup absolutely everywhere and especially along the external portion of the steamer. I’ll admit I was definitely skeptical in purchasing this, but I could you not, and just one pass through all of the sediment from the espresso portion, inside the tank, and inside and outside of the steamer were completely gone. I cannot recommend this product enough. It is extremely effective. The quality for the cost is just incredible. You’ll not be able to find anything as effective at a comparable price.
