The bar is excellent quality, very solid and superbly constructed Described as an Olympic barbell, which is a type of barbell specifically designed for Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting, and it’s different from a standard barbell in several key ways, a Standard Olympic barbells are 7 feet (2.2 meters) long, which is longer than a typical standard barbell this is 6 feet, so not an Olympic sized one The extra length is needed to accommodate the wider grip required for Olympic lifts like the clean and jerk or the snatch. This is all not as heavy as an olympic barbell. This is superb quality, but do feel the description is misleading, a good barbell not an olympic barbell
