Amazing Introductory Pulley System for Arm Wrestling Training
I don't very often write Amazon reviews, but this product stands out. I wanted to speak my mind. This is a great introduction pulley for arm wrestling training. The build quality is solid -- mostly metal parts. The pulley wheels spin well. The pulley cord is solid. The iron weight support is solid. The frame of the pulley is solid. The clamps hold well if tightened properly and put on a solid surface (see below). The included attachments are great for beginners -- pretty much everything you need except some sort of grip trainer. Been using this since May 2025 and have had zero issues. I've read all the bad reviews, and none of them seem to hold water. For those noting it does not work well on a foam-top or padded table... did you expect it to? It's two clamps and a piece of flat metal, of course it's gonna be unstable on a soft-topped table. Just get a cheap hard wood or metal table to attach the pulley. I have it on my wood desk. For the one person who said the clamps are bad... I've had no issues. If you set it up normally on a flat, hard surface, it does not budge. I've put almost 100lbs on the other end and been just fine. My whole DESK moves before any part of the pulley does. Overall, a very very solid product. I would highly recommend it.

Good!
My husband ordered these so my son could train, he just put everything together and seems to like it.

Pulley system Good/Bad
It gets the job done if you can put it in the right spot on your table but beware if you have a table that’s anything other than a non padded you will have issues with the pulley bending down and not being able to sit straight up. I work with lighter weight but for someone who likes to go heavy you may want to get a deeper vice grip to hold onto that pulley system

Building you forearms
The pulley system is super quiet and smooth. The c-clamps are an easy way for me to attach it to the counter while I waited for my arm wrestling table. Strengthen those tendons using this. The build quality is pretty beefy too.

Bad clamps
Clamps are so bad that even if you pull 50 lbs they start rotating/sliding since there is no grippy ends and no matter how hard you’re gonna tighten it. Other than that it seems to be okay, but have no use until you can properly install it.

Not for those with foam topped armwrestling tables.
You are probably better off investing a little more in a pulley system that attaches better to the table if your table has a foam top. You will find that this pulley depresses the foam and slips out from under clamps if you use above 50 lbs. If you are luckier than me, you will punch yourself in the face lifting less than 110 pounds on backpressure... In order to continue using this pulley I have to secure it with a number of straps. This makes the process of equipping this pulley between actual pulling tedious to say the least. If your table isn't foam topped, then it's great! The build quality is good and the included orange strap is my preferred strap for rise now.
