Works amazing, especially for coming up little grey hairs and little bald hair spots definitely recommend and I don't write reviews so that's how you know. This is a great product.

You need to use a very light touch with this product. If you press too hard it gets on your skin and looks fake. I ordered light brown and it covered my grays in my beard perfectly.

What I like Immediate visual boost. The dye does a good job of filling in sparse patches and giving the hair a richer, more consistent medium-brown tone. It’s convincing enough in casual or indoor lighting, and really helps mask uneven growth or lighter / gray hairs. Straightforward application. The brush-on formula is pretty easy to use: just apply, wait, and let it set. No complicated mixing or long wait times. Temporary & forgiving. Because it washes out with shampoo, it’s not a big commitment. If the shade is slightly off or he overdoes it in a spot, it can be corrected the next day. Reasonable for occasional use. For events, photos, or times when he wants that extra fullness, this is a solid option without the permanence or commitment of a full dye. What could be better / drawbacks Durability is limited. It doesn’t always hold up well under sweat, water, or touching. Some fading or smudging can occur by day’s end, especially in hot or active conditions. Risk of “painted” look. If too much product is applied or blending isn’t careful, it can look patchy or unnatural in close-up or bright light. Texture / residue. Right after application, there can be a bit of stickiness or tackiness until it fully dries. Some parts can feel a bit stiff. Shade matching is critical. The medium brown is decent for many, but if his natural hair color or skin undertone differs, the contrast can show. Not a growth solution. It enhances appearance but does nothing for stimulating real hair growth or thickness.

It works, but of the 3 brands I've tried, this is my least favorite (and I wouldn't buy again). Doesn't last as long - rubs off MUCH easier than the others. Even if you don't touch your face it seems to kind of fade away. By comparison, if I don't purposely wash out the others, they can last 2 or 3 days with minimal loss of color. (I lose a little from sleeping on my side & chest.) Not very many applications in this one either. Black Beard & Just For Men are much better options.

I bought this for my Halloween costume because my beard had too much grey hair in it to blend with the costume wig. The Beard Club 1 Day Temporary Dye was super easy to use. It's basicallythe same concept as mascara. The tube contains the thick dye substance. The tube will scrape off excess dye from the applicator brush as you pull it out of the tube. Then you apply as much or as little as you want. It dries quickly and washes out easily with soap and water. I didn't experience any stains on my shirt or clothes, but I was also careful not get any on me while it was wet. There is a slight odor when you first apply it, but it's not bad and mostly goes away once it dries.

Great product for a quick touchup without undergoing a whole die process.

I am SEVERELY allergic to para-phenylenediamine (PPD) - the active ingredient in almost all permanent Hair Dyes. I had a Very bad reaction to a major brand Beard Dye - So, I tried another huge brand, this product was advertised as "For Sensitive Skin" - But, it still contained PPD. I ended up in Emergency when my neck/throat swelled So much, It began to affect my air intake. Since then, I began using non-permanent dyes for big events... going out. But most of the ones I've tried are either powder or Gel-based, and they don't fully cover the areas of my beard that are Full grey, and they tend to wipe/ bleed off by the time i get to my destination. The Beard Club 1 Day - Is deep in Colour (Covers the Full Grey), Comes with a brush applicator - so, the dye is combed though the individual hairs, basically coating them - so, the "effect" is more real and is longer lasting. And while it does tend to rub off like the others, it does seem to give you a few solid hours before real degeneration occurs. And I didn't notice as much "bleed" on shirt collars. But Most Importantly - It's not made with para-phenylenediamine (PPD) - So, I didn't have to spend close to $700 on an Insurance deductible, just because I wanted a darker beard. Product loses a Star because the container is small - I may have used more each time than they determined an "Application" would be.... but, I certainly didn't get plenty of uses... before it was empty. They may do this, to keep the container small enough to keep in your pocket? That is Good. But I think they need to find more of an in-between / balance between pocket-ability and number of applications. So... Good Product. Does what it says. Doesn't contain what it says it doesn't.... and lasts longer than other similar products - Just wish there was more of it.
