Dossier Aquatic Coconut Inspired by Maison Margiela's Replica Beach Walk

I was honestly blown away by how similar this is to the Replica Beach Walk scent. For such a good price I would repurchase this again and again! I don’t know how I could ever justify buying the original when this is available and just as good if not better. It really smells like you’re walking on the beach and the wind is blowing scents of sand, coconut and ocean breeze. They really nailed it and the longevity is great; I can still smell it on myself throughout the day and on my clothes as well.

Dossier always has neat gift able packaging and a card with listed fragrance notes, this is no different. The perfume are always a high quality bottles (love that magnetic top!) The scent itself is really nice. Has a fancy sunscreen aura to it that screams beach summer and sun! The coconut note reminds me of coconut milk; more subtle and blends beautifully. The fragrance wears down to fresh yellow florals and jasmine giving a night air vibe. I can see this being worn all day into the night. Gives more nostalgic board walk summer in a bygone era of California than beach side island resort if that makes sense. I will say the longevity is not the greatest at about 3-4 hours of wear time.I'd recommend this to someone who enjoys sophisticated tropicals, and creamy florals.

I was hoping for a summer-beach coconut fragrance and it is not there. It has an intense floral note that I do not care for. The bottle is lovely and minimalistic, and the cap has a magnetic feature that is cool. Of note: there is a sticker detailing the top, middle, and base notes on the bottle that may or may not be easy to remove. Giving three starts for the quality product design. Disappointed by the lack of coconut.

This is close to Beach Walk by MM.The differences - This is bigger, bolder, and more vanilla.How close is it? - Other people around you will not be able to tell the difference.The bottle - This has a magnetic cap and a high quality atomizer that is much better than most designer brands. This is worth mentioning because a cheap atomizer can make applying your favorite fragrance disappointing and may lead to underperformance.Overall: 9/10 for unique clone that is most of the way there. This is a somewhat linear fragrance for those who like a summery floral.Should you try this over the original? - If you have already tried Beach Walk but were stunned by the price point, this will get you all the way there for a fraction of the cost. Honestly, who can justify the cost of the original, unless you plan on making this a signature scent that you use all the time? For occasional use, the Dossier dupe is a no brainer.
