Easy Install.
Two years later and this Jeep Air system is still going strong.

Decent for the price
Only dislike is the control knobs are super cheap . But it’s very close to the same as a vintage air system. The hose kit and tool that came with it was way better than the typical crimp type fittings . There was no instructions with it and I called the company and actually talked to someone in the US and he told me what I needed to know . Once I got that figured out and charged the system it was super cold!! The pump was nice and polished too and was perfect for the hot rod it was installed in . Definitely worth the value. The wiring was kinda ugly but was decent. I re-loomed it so that it looked better and fit better. So just be aware you will need some wiring tools and knowledge.

Worked great.
Came packaged very well. Easy instructions to follow. Mounted this unit in a 1966 Pontiac Tempest to replace old after market unit that went bad. Looks good and works good.

Love the a/c
I have used 3 of these a/c units before and love them. The seller is great and works with you. Bet price you can find. I'm about to order another one for my 1955 First series 3100 pickup with a 230 6 cylinder. Buy it. Just leave me one. (

Overseas Junk
Replaced old unit, these parts are cheap and obviously made overseas. Evaporator lacks cooling and fan speed power. Compressor is a cheap knock off of Sanden Compressor and takes forever to build pressure. Switch controls are cheap and flimsy. Many other suppliers have vastly better products that are worth the extra money.

A really attractive and quality kit
I bought this kit to replace an old aftermarket a/c unit on my 1970 Ford Maverick that was designed for R-12 refrigerant. The under-dash evaporator has four adjustable vents for even air distribution, a three speed fan and a “system on” indicator lamp. The kit also comes with sufficient refrigerant hose for most installations and a well designed wiring harness. Condensate drain tubing is supplied with one “tee” fitting but I needed to buy additional 90 degree elbows to avoid kinking the tubing in my installation. The condenser has a thin profile and easily fit in the limited space in front of my radiator. No mounting hardware is supplied. The condenser comes with an electric booster fan which did not fit. But the engine fan provides enough air flow in my situation. The compressor was much more compact and lighter than the York compressor it replaced. One minor gripe I had was that the compressor came without any mounting hardware. A heavy duty mount that bolts directly to the old York support shelf was available from the vendor but seems like they should have offered this at the time of purchase. And I needed to buy four spacers at the hardware store to snugly bolt the compressor to the mount. No instructions were included with the mount. The receiver dryer is supplied with a pressure switch and sight glass. However the sight glass was not polished smooth so viewing refrigerant flow is problematic. All hose fittings were supplied with a choice of standard hose clamps or beadlock caps. But the latter requires a special crimping tool. I evacuated and charged the system following the detailed instructions provided. Only two 12 oz. cans of R-124a are required. The system cools well and the compressor runs smoothly. All-in-all it was an easy install and a decent value for the money. I am happy with the purchase.
