Despite matching the engine number to this carburetor, it didn't work. I had to take it to a small motor repair place, he told me that carburetor just doesn't work for that engine, it has to be original Briggs and Stratton, so I'm out the money.It ran, but ran poorly. He said my install was good, but it sputtered constantly.

Just as described, installed easily and works great.

I had to purchase a float because the float that it came with was setting too low and gasoline was leaking out of the carburetor. I had to spend an additional $10 to purchase a new float.
