The Power in Cubase: Tracking Audio, MIDI and Virtual Instruments (Quick Pro Guides)

Great tool for learning Cubase
Well structured and and informative approach to learning Cubase. I will say that occasionally there is a presumption that the Cubase newcomer has achieved a good, working head knowledge of how the program defaults in some of the operations and procedures. A little head scratching will get you through or as was fortunately my case, a Cubase guru in your circle to smooth out the rough spots. The best Insight the author offered throughout the book is that you can't be intimidated by the learning curve or let it interrupt your playing and making music. That's five star advice for sure. He hits the nail on the head when he presents it like learning a new musical instrument. You have to use it to learn it and become proficient. Get it

Not What I expected
The book doesn't offer in depth details on any of the functions of the program. A waste of money and time if you're looking for a real user guide.

An immensely helpful tutorial
I have been recording with Cubase for years, yet I found the tips and detail provided by this tutorial to be immensely helpful. The suggested best practices for project organization alone were of great value. This book was well worth the money and the time I spent going through it.
