These little things are nice! I have had them for about a month and they are great! Snug fit! I recommend since they are a little trying to put on the first time, keep them on and just slide them off the hearing aides for charging. Keeping them between the rubber boot and hearing body. ( see pic) They also reduce wind noise, and keep them well protected. I work as a maintenance tech and in a nasty environment. I, myself had no issues with sweat like some reviews I have read. I guess this pending on the person and their environment. I work in a hot place but personally no problems. Will be buying a 2nd pair just to have between times. I'm going to try to wash them. Unsure if this may cause shrinking. But I'm gonna try.

I have super expensive hearing aids. My first cheaper set was destroyed by moisture. When I got my current pair, I ordered a drying device that disinfects them for 8 minutes with UV light then dries them out with low-level heat for 4 hrs. It works great, I put them in every night while I sleep and it helps extend their life but it doesn't prevent them from getting wet in the daytime when I sweat. I have to take them off frequently, open the battery doors and swab out the moisture with a Q-tip, or take them off when I'm sweating. As well, the moisture shortens the life of the batteries and I have to change them more frequently. Then out of curiosity, I did a search on Amazon to see if there is some type of wearable device that protects them from sweat and moisture while being worn. Lo & behold, I found these babies. I was skeptical that 1) A fabric cover wouldn't muffle the sound and 2) That moisture couldn't still seep thru the fabric and contaminate the devices. Neither seems to be the case. After a day at work, I open the devices and there's no moisture contamination. The fabric seems to wick away the moisture so that it never has a chance to get inside the devices. I'm sold.

I do like my ear gear protection. I got them primarily for dust - and probably humidity in the summer. I spend time at my horse barn and wanted to make sure I could wear my hearing aids and they were protected. I've only had my hearing aids and ear gear a few weeks but so far they seem to be doing the job I got them for. The only reason my rating wasn't 5 star was that there were no clear directions in the packaging as to how to put them on. I spent the past few weeks putting them on backwards. I just saw the directions on the website today and will do it correctly going forward.

I have purchased these from the manufacture several times and they take forever to ship due to them being over seas. They were the same price total and only took a few days with prime shipping. They do well with blocking wind noise (as much as they can anyway) and they help if you sweat a lot like I do in the summer. If you know you are going to do yard work during the heat of the summer. I would still take them off, because the hearing aid can’t handle that much moister and this product will not protect from that much either.

So so…

Way over priced for two little pieces of fabric.

I am notorious for having excessive moisture in my ears, which has resulted in more than one hearing aid going to that big manufacturer in the sky. even with an electric dry aid jar, and nightly drying it still doesn't help, especially in these Oklahoma summers. so when my audiologist recommended these, I grabbed at the chance and ordered a pair. The quality of these items is excellent however, some thing I should have thought about ahead of time, but did not, due to my visual impairment. I lost one of them on my kitchen floor having ordered, a skin tone, neutral color. I can’t blame the manufacturer and don’t. I have a new pair coming just a much higher brighter contrast color. One I can see if dropped. Great product Just be sure if you are sight limited to order a brighter color.

Got this for my son who is very athletic and sweats a lot. He didn’t want to wear a sweat band and his hearing aid kept shorting out due to sweat getting inside. These covers work perfectly. They don’t block the sound and prevent sweat from getting in. He uses them all the time now and not just for sports.

Best thing ever

I had been wearing ear covers, even in summer, to cut down the wind whistling during my outdoor activities. These did the trick! I love that I can roll down the car window or step outside anytime without that noise. As a bonus, I’m less concerned about like sprinkling when it starts raining, and it protects them from my sweat when I work out. Another bonus is that the door for my battery is broken, and these help keep the door closed, meaning the battery doesn’t fall out.

They actually collected the sweat and made things worse.

So far they have totally eliminated a problem that I had with sweet seeping into the battery compartment and interfering with hearing aid functionality.
