So the pros: good build quality and the felt and leather feels good.Cons: the way it connects together is not magnetic or reversible like the ad would leave you to belive it is metal snaps that only connect one way. The snaps don't seem to be that high quality and of I were to constantly fold this flat for transportation I feel like over time the snaps will eventually fail.Conclusion: I will end up keeping this becuase the color and materials are pretty great but I'm upset becuase I wanted this to be magnetic and reveseable like the ad said it was.

Edit: I have had this for seven months. The snaps are no longer tight. If you pick it up, it will come unsnapped. Not sure I would buy it again.It does not sit flat after a while. Annoying, but whatever. The velvet is already smashed. After about 6 months of use two times a week. Just in one spot.

This was a perfect addition to my gaming gear, folds flat to fit in my backpack along side my books and then does a wonderful job of corralling my dice from flying off the table and does it's job quietly. The felt lining feels sturdy and effective, and the outer material feels like it's going to last a good long time. Adds a considerable amount padding for throwing metal dice, and takes multiple dice like a pro without complaint.The angled inside edges when snapped together gives a high enough wall to keep dice inside and enough bounce that you get a good random roll instead of a dull 'thud'.Other folks in my group have different shaped trays and they are all positive about them as well.

It's mainly helpful because I can easily slip it in between books in my backpack so that everything still fits inside when I am packing up. I gave it four stars because the product could be better quality (felt, buttons, &c.), but for the price, I have certainly gotten my use out of it.General warning: If you fill it up with dice, don't try to use it to carry them (it's not meant for this). I tried to pick it up once with well over 100 dice inside and the buttons snapped under the weight. Dice. Everywhere.

This item is well worth the price. It is a dice tray to soften the sounds of rolling dice on the table. I use it for the daily pocket drops, wallet, keys, coins. I like how you can toss an MP3 player or Phone into this container and not worry about scuffing the front or back. The item ships flat and it takes less than a minute to snap each side.A word of caution: To construct this item you snap the rivet grommets closed at each section. It is easy to do but if the item does not snap do not force it, instead move to the next and return later. Realign the snap and try again. If you repeatedly snap close and open the grommet it will fall apart and/or possibly pop out. One of mine is now loose from just opening and closing it twice.

I bought this back in February in anticipation for the game I am finally running.The tray is smaller than I anticipated, but the felt looks nice and the fake black leather is interesting. It starts looking a little crowded when 3 sets of dice are in it.I do not find it sturdy at all. The buttons are of terrible quality, and one of the buttons on mine doesn't work at all, thus the 3-star rating instead of four.Please invest in better buttons.... Everything else is decent, though!

I keep this always buttoned so I have not had any issues with it popping loose or the button ripping out. A nice pleather exterior and a soft felt interior. Really quiets the dice and keeps them in play.Hack, dodge, and run away from Mi-Gos, Hounds of Tindalos, and Mr. Whately himself with no fear of losing 'dem bones!

I got the black and purple, smaller version of this dice box, and I'm really pleased with it. Gone are the days when I was rolling dice in a Tupperware container to keep my dice on the table! The diagonal sides are nice, as is the fact that it stores flat in a bag or on a shelf. The first day I brought it to a game, it attracted a lot of attention, and another player showed up the next session with the larger, brown leather version (which I also liked). Excellent quality materials, very attractive to look at, and well suited to its purpose. Very happy with this purchase.
