WiMas 0805 SMD Resistor and Capacitor Sample Book 3725Pcs Full Version Kit

Nice little 0805 SMD resistor and capacitor pack. Looks like it will come in handy to have multiple common sizes available. Looks to be comparable to the one from Adafruit.

Useful to have for prototyping, lots of values I will probably not use but good to have as a backup

The labels of the values, one per page, have all fallen off.Actually they are now stuck to the opposite page making each side of the pages slightly gooey.You can fix this by removing the label and either mounting it to the opposite side or use a sharpey.But for this price I would have expected much better quality. I bought this to avoid work not to make more work for myself by making me re-label the pages.Otherwise product is fine. A little sticky but OK.

Das Sample Book liefert eine gute Basis für jeden ambitionierten Bastler. Allerdings sind die Labels so unterirdisch schlecht geklebt (oder in Öl getränkt) so dass sie nicht auf den Seiten haften. Ich habe alle händisch mit Sekundenkleber befestigt

This book of SMD passives was not really okay - perhaps okay for emergencies - but...1. The book is pretty small - yes, they seem to try to give you what's in the description but it's not much for your money.2. The very first parts that I wanted - some 330 Ohm resistors - weren't there. At least they weren't in the position indicted by the labels - something I wouldn't have known if I hadn't checked the values of the parts. I hunted around a bit on the book for the parts but gave up. Not good enough!3. As mentioned elsewhere, the pages are sticky because of the silly way that the labels have been stuck down. I guess this could be solved by sticking transparent tape over them.All in all, pretty disappointing really.

On the face of it, ok value - but you only (just) get what you pay for, really - ok for hobby/rework/bodging but not for professional use/repair.Testing a sample of values using a Keysight 6.5 digit DMM shows most are outside the 1% tolerance, but no more than 2% total, so still acceptable for my requirements and rather what I expect of no-name-brand sourced components -- I'd be happier if they were just more honest with the labelling though.The case if a bit of a wreck, with every label having lost whatever horrible glue it originally hand and turned to some kind of slime instead - will need to re-stick all the labels back on the pages - not great. The selection / quantity of capacitors is also a bit low, with too many caps in the pF range. rather than what most people will want (higher values).
