I was so surprised when my 6 week old kitten took to climbing this cat tree almost immediately. Must be survival instinct to get off the ground. She dug in with her little claws and was laying on the top bed in no time. It quickly became her favorite place. I had to have those lethal claws trimmed and was concerned it would hinder her climbing but it only slowed her down a little. Assembly was fairly easy taking a little over a hour for one person. Instructions were also easy to follow and it is very sturdy. The scratching posts get used frequently and help keep her from damaging the furniture. It is a good height for 8 foot ceilings and can easily be moved. I don’t lift it but it slides easily doing no damage to floors. I think it would small for very large cats. The strap to attach it to the wall for extra stability is a great option but I didn’t need it. Maybe for multiple cats. It is true to item description and the color is as pictured. It arrived with all pieces in the box for easy assembly and on time. An excellent and much used purchase for the price.

Update: Bought a second one for my mom! Easier to assemble the second time, but not hard the first time, and her cats love it! Use the Allen wrench that comes with it to help you line up the holes to make it easier to screw together. I am completely surprised at the quality. It’s heavy and feels solid. Easy to assemble with a little patience. And most of all, my cat loved it. He’s usually so disappointed in me and is always sitting in judgement glaring at how I don’t measure up. But, he loved it! He was purring and rubbing up against me and swatting at the bell! He completely investigated and loves sitting up high! Especially since I let him down last week bringing a puppy home. It’s fun and the height is perfect. Best Cat tree I’ve ever bought!!!

My Rescues love this. Very well made. Instructions and supplemental video here at Amazon, putting this together was fun with my furrbabies inspecting every step. This was my birthday and my present to them. Cannot beat the price anywhere! Buy it whilst its on sale. And my 30lb Main Coon mix loves it, stable, no wobble whatever place he decides to rest on/in. Great cat tree! Love the color too. Meets the cats visual spectrum well!

Smaller than expected but for the sale price it’s worth it. I had to stuff my cat inside the hole and he is only 7 months old so idk how much use we’ll be getting from this but oh well it’s nice for now & there is an option to mount it to a wall which would probably be wise. Good for a small house/apartment

Okay I was hesitant at first because of the mixed reviews but to be honest I love it and so do my cats. I have a 12 pounder and a 26 pounder 😬 they fit perfectly on it and it’s really sturdy and the assembly is time consuming but very easy and straight forward! They love playing of sleeping on it and it’s so nice for the price!

Small but great for the money. Perfect for under my windowsill not where I wanted to use it but it worked out.

This gets 3 stars based on how easy it was to assemble. I did not give it 5 stars for a few reasons: 1. My cat wants nothing to do with it. He acts like it's not even there. 2. I do not think it's good for large cats. My cat weighs 10lbs and none of the platforms or nooks seem big enough. I put him on the top platform to show him that he could look out the window and he barely fit on it. He seemed unsure on his feet and jumped down immediately. None of the pedestals seem very stable despite me tightening them as tight as I could. 3. It stinks. This is probably the main reason my cat won't go near it. But who knows? He's a cat, so maybe he'll like it tomorrow. 4. There is a strap that is attached to the tree so it can be secured to the wall. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver for this as it was not supplied, despite the description saying all tools are included. I have the tools, but not everyone will. 5. There is very little room for a cat to jump from one platform to the next. A smaller cat would probably be fine. 6.. I'm going to have to try and sell this online if my cat continues to ignore its existence. I think if your cat is on the larger side, skip this one. A smaller cat would do better with it. I'm sure the stink will fade after a few more days.
