Easy to set up, works great. Note the WiFi password restriction.
Unlike some other low-priced Chinese cameras, this one works well, the manual is readable and useful, and the smartphone app (for Android in my case) actually works. It does not come with a microSD card, and it's a good idea to put one in before you use the camera. It's also a good idea to update the firmware; one I purchased did not have the latest. This is best done with the app.Note the label on the bottom of the camera. The UID on that label is used in the app to identify the camera.Like most cameras, it only uses 2.4 GHz wireless networks. One annoyance I found with all of the Dericam cameras, including this model, was the refusal to accept certain characters in the WiFi password. You may need to change your WiFi password to accommodate this. The complete list of unacceptable characters is & = ' " \ + %I've been using one of these cameras for a month and another for a few days. Both are working fine.

Excellent image quality
I love Dericam IP cameras. This is my 3rd, with the first 2 being PTZ dome cameras. Always great image quality. I decided to go the stationary camera route this time, after tiring of cleaning the inside of the domes twice a year.My one complaint is the huge hole you have to drill in your house to pass the wiring harness through. The wire itself is only about 1/4" thick, but there's a massive plastic piece for the ethernet connector, and where all of the individual wires (ethernet, reset switch, power, a/v) join into a single cable. The design needs to be changed so these wires can be removed from the camera, then re-attached after passing them through the wall.

Good quality at an affordable price
I use Dericam for all my clients. This was the first time using the bullet cams, but I had full confidence that it would work fine.I had these set up within a couple of minutes, nice and easy. Mounting went well and my customer was very happy. One thing to note on these bullet cams: Due to the length of the antenna, you cannot aim them hard to the right. I ran into this with one of the ones I installed but I ended up buying an RP-SMA Male to RP-SMA Female 90 degree connector which was small enough to fit. See pics

Poorly thought out design and implementation.
There are a number of reasons that I returned this camera.1. Unable to configure camera to provide motion events to my QNAP NAS running QPR Pro application. There are currently three cameras (Amcrest) two indoor and one outdoor all working. Issues encountered with Windows 10 include the need to run Internet Explorer. There is an ActiveX add on that needed IE security to be set to an unacceptably low security state. Then the Web site Security Certificate is invalid. At this point (a couple hours into trying to install camera) I gave up and put device in box for return.Several other issues that I worked around.1. The need to connect camera to Ethernet to enable wireless connectivity. My network equipment and NAS are not easily accessed.2. The 120 volt AC TO 12 volt DC power adapter has the 120 volt male prongs mounted in a manner that prohibits mounting in anIn use duplex outlet electric box. For a camera designed for outdoor use this is not the brightest design.3. The camera wiring includes a female Ethernet, female audio jack, reset button and female 12 volt jack. Impossible to routethrough half inch conduit and fittings.4. Upgrading firmware caused a complete reset and requires starting configuration over from scratch.I did develop workarounds for these basic design problems. The Windows 10 software issues and inability to configure ONVIF motion events was a show stopper

A pain if you replace an existing router
Love the camera and picture quality, BUT a royal pain if you need to replace an existing router. To get my existing cameras to communicate with my new router, I had to physically take down my cameras, bring them inside and hardwire them to the new router to initialize. Then I had to monkey around figuring out I needed to change passwords along with deleting the cameras on the app and starting fresh. Of course they have no phone number for customer service, only email with suggestions that show they really didn't understand what my problem was. Finally got them re-installed after 2-3 days trying

Revised from "El crappo - don't waste your month!" to excellent
I'm revising my original review on this camera. It turns out my camera resetting issue was user error. What I did was to connect my laptop to each camera using an ethernet cable. This is what was preventing a proper connection. Once I realized I had an extremely long ethernet cable (about 60ft long, fortunately this was long enough as one camera was just within the reach of the cable), I connected each camera to the router and proceeded with the reset. I was able to bring all cameras back online. So I've changed the rating from a 1 star to a 5 star, given that I believe all cameras would have this same limitation during the initial or resetting circumstance.
