These refills DO NOT fit into the retractable uniball pens. Instead, they fit into the Uniball Signio DX UM-151 pens -- (the ones that come with a pen cap). Other than the mix-up. The refills are great and provide a nice, clear line

The ink gel insert on the left is original to the one. The one on the right is the refill. The refill is NOT THE SAME. It is too long in overall length, but also the tip is too short and so won’t fit into the head of the pen when pressed. These are misrepresentations and likely frauds. My problem is I bought them 18 months ago and had them stored for use when needed… I needed one today at work and was left without a working pen.

I can't give a clear cut review on this for what it really IS (See the review headline). I can tell you OUTSIDE of a pen (just holding the refill itself, it writes well and mimics the color/thickness described. I have no reason to doubt in the right pen it will write well.One star is deducted simply because I cannot confirm and what's noted below not only is annoying, but at the price of this item jumping through the additional hoops (I already tried just contacting the seller) isn't worth my time to return.THAT SAID - I got the wrong item because the sizing/fit options for the various types of refills in the Signo/Uni-ball pens are not clearly reported in all of the listings. Or at least I feel it's not as obvious and not upkept on all listings.It doesn't help that Amazon's search engine will take you directly to a wrong refill type despite typing in all the right info. If you're not looking carefully yourself, lands you with a wrong refill.My pen was the 207 retractable, which this refill will NOT fit. The refill itself is to long for it for starters, and then the front piece is shaped slightly differently. So if you cut one down to size (as I thought I might get away with) the tip gets stuck some where in the head of that pen and retraction mechanisms won't work. (Not just simple length as another reviewer thought)The seller did inform me that the correct type for the 207 style is UMR-85N, but good luck finding a micro/very-fine point refill in those, let alone in black, as I scrolled through pages of similar wrong items unable to locate. Probably by the time I would find one, I might as well have saved the effort and put my time (time=money) into purchasing a package of the full pens.

This was my first time ordering a Uni-ball product specifically for the ultra fine point. I have used this brand of products for a while, and fell in love with it. However, I prefer ultra fine points and I have a heavy hand when writing. This has always been problematic for me, until now.This micro point handles a heavy-handed writer like myself, writes smoothly with no gooping or skipping, and provides smooth, beautiful, quick-drying ink that does not bleed or smear on the page.This is a wonderful product and I highly reccommed it!

Don’t fit in the pens that I was trying to refill - same brand and everything, so not sure what was happening.

The top one is the replacement and will not fit my Signo Ultra Micro 207 at all. The tips are too short and will not allow you to screw the tip back on. As you can see the tip is too short to fit all the way through the tip of the pen when you try to screw it back on. The bottom one is the one that comes with the pen.

Perfect! As what I expected. But a little scratchy as others 0.38mm tips. I ordered for my old pen body from my high school senior year that is still in very good condition after over two decades.

I was worried (because of some of the reviews) that these refills won’t fit my Uniball Signo pen (0.38mm) but they did and they are perfect!
