Zero stars should be an option
The tips/heat tube are very loose. Tried tightening as much as possible but still wobbles while burning wood. Tried multiple tips & all were the same. The tips got so hot they bent/melted when pressed against the wood. The heat dial fell off on the second use. The heat is difficult to control & is not consistent, but fluctuates. As you can see in the picture of my sunflower, the lines are all over the place due to the wobbling tips. Will be looking for a new one.Update:: I turned the burner off & 20 minutes later went to change the tip . Now I have 2nd degree burns on two of my fingers because the off switch did NOT turn it off. Make sure you just unplug it to be on the safe side.

Gets the job done
It doesn’t quite get hot enough to move as fast as I’d like but it gets the job done! So many different tips to choose from

Good kit for beginners
I bought this for my spouse. He really likes it fir the lettering he can do with it. I love the stamps included because I can make pretty designs on my boxes.

There may have been a defect from the manufacturer, but at least it got the job done when I needed it to. I appreciate the customer service and will definitely be doing business again with them! It's a great kit, far more than expected at such a good value. Great company!

Love it perfect for what i need it for and also works well on candle carving and soap to make your own designs and logic too besides wood

Good starter set
One of the tips broke on the third use. I followed the instructions not to ise it for more than 30 min and to rest it in between, yet the tip loosened and cannot be used now.

Great Starter Kit
Great for those just trying to their hand at wood burning. Has everything you need to get started.

Not good for beginners
My only complaint is that the tips/heat tube will not get tight making it difficult to stay straight. With that being said, I DO NOT think that this is a good kit for beginners. They may think that all wood burning is this frustrating when it’s not supposed to be. I guess you get what you pay for.
