Perfect owb holster
I tried to post a review on here a while ago when I first got the holster, but Amazon decided to not approve it for some reason. Let's try again.Probably the best paddle holster I've used. Holds the gun very tight (no wiggle like with other holsters), it's very easy to slip on to your pants (other holsters are way harder and tear up your clothes). The angle is fully adjustable for all 360 degrees. It is very solidly made. The button placement for the release is far superior to other owb holsters in that your finger isn't left directly on the trigger when you draw. The release is up by the slide, so your finger is always in a safe position when you're drawing.

Good quality holster for the Walther Q5 Match and, surprisingly, P99
Impressed. Good quality holster that works for the Walther Q5 Match and the Walther P99. I see what the other gentleman was saying about the Q5 sticking out of the bottom, it DOES do that, but I'm not going to be doing as much intense obstacle course type stuff as he described so it works for my useage. If that bothers you, then this is not the holster for you.It fits the Q5 with a nice tight snug grip. The P99 has a little bit of play in there (about 2mm from furthest back to furthest forth), but it does hold it securely and it will not fall out. I am a big Walther guy. If you buy a Walther, you probably like their entire line up of firearms. If you are a Walther person like me, it will fit the P99 and PPQ as well as the Q5 Match. Get to use 3 guns in the same holster.

It works... sorta...
You can call it old-fashioned, but honestly I prefer leather holsters to plastic or kydex. Having the Walther Q5 Match SF doesn't exactly give you that option so I went for this. I read other reviewers takes on this with the Q5 and as others have stated, the bottom inch of the barrel sticks out. This could be an issue if you're in high traffic areas where you may bump into things, but it's not too big of a concern for me. I'd like to add that the rail section on the bottom of the Q5 is also longer than a standard PPQ so it has to sit "deeper" into this holster and will not let the trigger guard lock click in fully. It took me a few minutes with coarse grit sandpaper wrapped around an emory board to take some of the taper away and after a few attempts, I got it to "seat" properly. Is it comfortable? ... not particularly, but that could be my lower-riding leather holster bias showing. Is it secured and stable in the holster even modified? ... as well as it can be, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't just fall out. The paddle seems adequate for a standard PPQ, but may be pushing the weight limits of it with the Q5.It is affordable, and an option while you wait several days to weeks for your custom kydex or carbon-fiber job. I managed to find a leather option today at the time of this writing, so that'll be the new go-to, but I don't regret picking this up. Minimal investment, adequate return.

Slick
This is a slick design. The pistol remains absolutely secure at any aspect, even if one does a "FBI flip". Easy & quick access... requiring index finger (which releases the pistol) to be naturally in the safe position upon withdrawal. With this design, many of the scenarios postulated against "chambered carry" are obviated.

Easy release and no gun rattle for my 9mm Walter PPQ

Holster too short for Q5 Match
The holster seems fine from the standpoint of construction, aesthetics, and function however there is one big issue and that's the holster's length. 1 inch of the Q5 sticks out from the bottom of the holster. This is unacceptable in my mind because the tip of the slide, barrel, and the entire front sight are exposed and unprotected. Sitting in a chair, sitting in the car, sitting on the ground, walking past a counter corner, or squeezing in between obstructions......all of these situations could damage the end of the Q5 or worse, knock the fiber optic out of the front sight possibly rendering it unusable. Debris is free to not only get into the end of the barrel but through the cutouts in the slide and possibly jamming the slide. What if a rock gets lodged into the barrel opening or goes through a cutout and gets stuck between the barrel and the slide.......what will that do to your ability to shoot safely? The Q5 is one of the most accurate semi auto pistols on the market, unless the fiber optic is torn out of the front sight or worse, the front blade gets broken because you banged into something while walking. I like everything else about the holster. If it were 1 1/4 inch longer, I would give it a 5 star rating. Not sure that I'll use this much because of the risk to the end of the gun.

Works well and the weapon is very secure
The release button takes a little time to get used to, but it works intuitively after a few tries. Secures the weapon very well and is a fine product!

Excellent holster!!!!
Excellent holster. The sight protection slot is a great feature. Very easy to adjust to my release angle. Definitely recommend for any Walther PPQ owner. Shipping was right on time and within two days.
