Decent wooden forks. I'd give them a 5 star review but they aren't what I would like to think as rock hard. That's OK because it does the job that I wanted them to do and that is, being able to use a fork on some of more delicate cookware without the threat of scratching. I do a lot of cooking "alla gricia" which is basically making a sauce in a skillet and then tossing your pasta into said skillet where the pasta will absorb the flavor of the sauce while cooking on a low flame. These forks are perfect for the job.

Use for non-stick pans

I suggest rubbing them down with a beeswax-mineral oil combination (1:4 ratio) to help preserve and strengthen them.) less toxic than a commercial wood polish.

I still have these a year later, but I've been gentle. When holding them, you can tell they aren't very solid, so it wouldn't be a good idea to put any pressure at all on them. However, as long a you just use them to stir and toss with then, you should be good.

My wife uses these for cooking. She had a set before but she's had them for over 15 years and they've become brittle and started breaking

These cooking forks are great for stir-frying, for sauteing, for all kinds of cooking and mixing projects. Good size, good length, very sturdy. Recommend!

I had a wooden fork for year and it caught fire over the gas stove, I was shocked, I had left it resting across the top of a pot and the tines blackened ( no flames) but it ruined my fork I looked around town but could not find a replacement. I realized how much I used it. Was really glad to find a replacement with Amazon

I have been looking for wooden forks for a while and found these on Amazon. They are perfect to use on Teflon pans don’t have to worry about scratching Teflon!

Why is it so difficult to find cooking forks? These are good quality even thought they look a bit skinny and weak. They arrived promptly. I put them in the dishwasher and they've fine.
