EXTINGUISH PLUS FIRE ANT

I used this product as directed, after getting introduced to fire ants by my sandalled feet one morning upon moving to Arizona. Being new to the desert, I had no idea what I was dealing with. The ants let me know that I definitely needed to deal with them...ouch. Anyway, after that 'introduction', I immediately began researching how to kill the little buggers - queen and all. Extinguish was a bit pricier than some but had great reviews, so I bought it.I hope people read this review, because for anyone that this product 'didn't work', I guarantee they were using it incorrectly. My feet happened upon a group of foraging ants. After I saw the mounds and felt their presence, I kept going out to the place I knew they were but saw none; the mound looked like there were no ants in it at all. I was worried that one of my dogs might have the same thing happen to them, so I kept looking but didn't see any. I read several reviews and instructions on how to use the product and consistently they said to look for foraging ants. I waited, and kept checking..finally late one morning they were out! As I read and as the instructions stated, I spread a circle of bait a foot or so from the mounds and all around in a circle. I was overjoyed to see a few run to the bait and pick it up almost immediately. That was 4 days ago; today I found 5 or 6 volcanoes of dead ants, (picture attached).To say this product is effective is the understatement of the century. My flip flopped feet are safe, my dogs are safe, and any more ants I find are history. Well done Extinguish. I know I am prepared for any more encounters - I am armed for battle and know I will win.

Works great. Bought it almost a year ago and still killing ants with it. Carpenter ants took it back with them and that nest died out and it was a huge nest. Had to apply maybe 8 times. That was 6 months ago and the ants from that nest have never come back. I do have more ants coming from a different area that I am treating now.

I followed the directions and used it on the ant mound while they were feeding. I've used it several time on several different fire ant mounds and as far as I can tell, it does nothing. I haven't seen a single dead ant from using this, much less a dead colony. Back to Orthene I go...

Took care of my Fire Any problem. This doesn't seem to work on other types of ants. Great product for fire ants. A+

This product worked great! Since it was more on the expensive side, I followed the directions exactly and have only had to treat a couple mounds since. I started with 13 fire ant mounds on my less than an acre lot when we purchased the home in December 2016, now I have no living ant mounds!

Just moves the ants, doesn't kill them.

Use as prescribed! This product really works when applied properly.
