Really like these tires
Ok so I made the switch to these tires and went from a 700c x 23 to a 700c x 28 in early spring of this year. I'm a 190lb 18-19 mph avg. speed rider ride several time a week in all kinds of weather. I live in Maine and our roads here are really rough and the new pavement feel doesn't last very long here with the big winters and all the plowing the roads really take a beating. I have to say going from 23's to 28's on my Cannondale Synapse clincher made a huge difference for these rough roads here in Maine its a completely different ride now much smoother and to my surprise my average speed is way up going bigger is defiantly faster on these roads ! I've settled on 90psi. in the front and 90-94psi in the rear for me that's what I like on this tire. As of now I have over a 1000 miles on these tires and the front looks like new still and the back could probably go another 1000 but the price is so reasonable I think I'm just going to put the front to the rear and put a fresh tire in the front. I've been really happy with these tires so far the wet traction is great ,cornering is excellent ,these are smooth and fast on sub par roads including top speeds of up to 48mph almost every ride I go on I even ride a few gravel roads from time to time with no problems at all. I've hit potholes ,low manhole covers, rough railroad tracks, rocks in the road, broken beer bottles you name it and I've only had one flat in the rear from a tiny piece of steel belting wire that I picked up ! As other riders stated when I first put these tires on they were not fun to install "very tight fit" however I noticed when I replaced my tube from my one flat the tire it came off and went back on very easy once they had been ridden on. I've been very happy with these tires and I don't plan on switching to another tire anytime soon between the price and the performance its a great tire for me I cant wait to see how they do in late fall.

What a Pain putting these bad boys on.
What a B...... putting these bad boys on. As from what I've read from other reviews. (Very tight to put on). I've also read of blow outs too. Putting on the rear tire, I found where it would not seat against the rim correctly. What I had to do was fill, release air. Refill to a higher pressure a few times. I started at 80psi and increased 5 psi each time. Where I heard where the tire would basically (pop or ping). where the bead on the tire would fit up against the rim. I've checked the tires on both side a couple times to make sure they were equally seated.I think if I did not refill a few times. I think I would of had issues first time out.And being the first time out, (comparing to the stock tires). I have noticed less rolling resistance, and the ride is ok.And with new tires, I've also learned I have to let new tires break in a little, especially for wet surfaces. I've had to experience the bike coming out from underneath me on a different brand tire which were brand new. It's something I will do until I KNOW how the tires react.I do like the markers on the tire that show when the tires are due for replacement.Time will tell how long they will last.06/10/18 update, these tires are great. wet or dry. I'll buy again

A great, all around, performance road tire, super cost effective for training and casual racing.
I was always bothered by the review here that gave these tires 1 star. It just didn't jive with my experience. These are cost effective, "training" tires. When you go to the Continental website, the Grand Sport Race is an "all around" performance tire. You can certainly race on them, and they do have a nice feel. For the price, you are getting a very good tire. If you are going from real bargain basement road tires, the Grand Sport Race is a nice upgrade. But, if you are coming from a high end tire, I can see how the Grand Sport may feel different. This purchase is my second. I put my first Grand Sport on my front wheel and noticed an immediate difference, improvement in ride and feel. It is now time to replace the rear tire and came back to the Grand Sport (now I will have a matched pair).I haven't had any flats, bulging, or issues. As for weight, the Continental Website, as for 11/3/14, says the 700 x 23cm weighs 230g. I weighed mine, it came it at 240g. A far cry from the person who have 1 start and said they weighted 336g. Not enough of a difference to really matter.

Very smooth and low rolling resistance. Update
Very smooth and low rolling resistance. Haven't try in wet pavement. One thing, I think they stretch after a couple of uses when you set the pressure. They measured 23c (I ordered 25c) but now they are 25c. Will update whenever I try them in wet pavement...Update:One of the tires has bumps and makes it very unbalanced, also one is wider. they grip good and not high rolling resistance...

Size alert its Inaccurate but the tires looks fine
The reason I'm adding 3 stars because the size is somewhat inaccurate. I bought 700x28c and after to replace my 700x30c the size for the new ones turned to be 30c not 28c tho the package and the tires have the sizing 28c. If you are planning on buying make sure to order a smaller size to get to the size that you want. In terms of installation and structure those tires seems to be fine in my 1st 30 miles ride tho I still don't like the size. You feel your ride is more comfy and smooth.

Good Street Tire
Bought these in 28 width for a hybrid. Decent tire, easily to install on 22mm width rim. Did take a a little repositioning to seat the tire bead evenly. A good street tire to speed up a hybrid but do not recommend for unpaved use.

Great tires I was a bit skeptical when I saw ...
Great tires I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price of these tires but I decided to give them a try , they are very good tires on the continenal low end tires.I put about 500 miles on them and no problems at the moment ,performance on the wet are excellent even better than other top brands I had use before I will definitely buy again.

Copertoni vecchi
il copertone si comporta bene in strada, cmq vedremo con il passare dei km. Quello che non mi è piaciuto è il fatto che sono datati settimana 28 del 2014!!!in pratica hanno già 4 anni. Secondo me era da mettere in evidenza

Not as durable as I'd hoped.
Grip seems pretty decent, but it's tricky to get on and after just over 400 km of cycling, it's worn down in one spot and close in others. Won't buy these again.

Decent tyre
4 months on and the tyre is still providing good puncture protection and grips well in both wet and dry conditions. great value compared to some higher end models which have no protection and a softer compound. Easy to fit and a reasonable weight for the price.
