These are awesome! I originally had paperlike screen protector (sent directly from paperlike, generation 3 of the product) and while the texture was nice to write on, it seemed to darken the screen a tad and lose a bit too much contrast for my liking. Meanwhile the screen brightness is fine with this, contrast is a touch better, and of course, it’s a layer of glass to give some extra protection to the iPad itself rather than a film screen protector. I’m glad it came with two because only days after installing the first, my cat knocked the iPad off my desk and I got some hairline cracks on the protector, the iPad was fine. The installation process was also super easy as it came with all the cleaning essentials and an alignment tray that worked well. The only con I have about theirs is the texture or feel of it is definitely rougher than the paper like, and may wear down my pencil more over time, but I have plenty of pencil tips so I’m not worried about it. Some may find this texture too rough to touch in general but I’ve gotten used to it. Overall way better value than the paperlike if you can get used to the extra gritty texture of the screen.

The roughness takes a little getting used to (and may not be everybody's cup of tea), but it makes for a better pencil experience in my opinion. The anti-glare is much better than the alleged built-in anti-glare quality of the iPad screen itself, and makes a big difference inside and outside. Tempered glass is of course the best protection as it fully absorbs the hit and will crack, rather than passing on the energy to the screen. The two protectors come with a fitting device that literally lets you install it in 30 seconds. No complaints!

Went out on a limb and bought this instead of the Paperlike. I have the Paperlike on my iPad Pro. Don’t ask why I have two iPads but got this one for the mini and the application process was 20 times easier and it just feels better. It has a little more rough of a texture but truly feels like paper plus it’s glass and went on easier, which is honestly the main selling point. Going back to the application it comes with that frame, which was really easy. I messed up the first time and actually just peeled it off and then put it back on and somehow it came out perfect. Definitely cannot mess up with the Paperlike, so this is 1000 times better.
