Seriously Good!
Arrived quickly. Fantastic ingredient in Indian food. A suggested alternative is to use extra cinnamon, but dagarfull has a distictively beautiful smell and taste. Well worth getting some. Share with a friend if there's too much. Remember to remove the stalks.

Unique flavour
I bought this to cook one of Rick Stein's recipes and I'm so glad I went the extra step. I'll be honest and say I wouldn't know "good" dagarful from "bad" dagarful -- as this is literally the only time I've tasted it -- but it did impart an incredibly unique flavour to the curry and I've cooked with it several times since.

Do not even think of attempting Rick Stein's Chettinad Chicken Curry without this
Dagarful absolutely makes Rick Stein's dish, adding a perfumed note I can only describe as 'like incense'. Do not be tempted to substitute cinnamon as suggested, it is nothing like the proper spice.
