Super Tough USA812HFE Store US Wood Stick with Standard Spear Tip Flag, 8 by 12-Inch, No Size, No Color

I have a Mustang convertible that I drive in parades. I always try to have a flag on my antenna, regardless of the parade I am driving in. When I wore out the first flag I had, I started looking for a replacement, which wasn't easy. My first "antenna" flag was a stick flag that I took off the stick and attached to my antenna, as most of the antenna flags I found, I didn't like, so I wanted to do the same with my next flag. I was also looking for one that was available for fast Prime shipping. This flag fit the bill! It was easy to remove from the stick, and the perfect size for my antenna. The material is slightly stiff, so it stays open with the slightest breeze and slow driving we do in parades. The edges are finished so the wind won't fray it easily. I noticed in some reviews there are comments about this flag being over priced. I did a LOT of looking and didn't find a flag like this for less money. Very happy with this flag! I am including a photo showing the flag on my antenna at the last Veteran's Parade I drove in. I also got the "Manual Patriotic Collection 50 x 60-Inch Tapestry Throw, Long May It Wave X Cindy Shamp (Misc.)" throw to cover my roof, so I could be parading in patriotic style!

THESE FLAGS DO ----NOT---- HAVE SEWN EDGES, AS THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION CLAIMS. They came yesterday, nicely packaged and on time, but the sewn edges were a selling point for me. I paid $2.20 each, plus almost $5 shipping for 5 flags, thinking these were nicer and longer lasting (since they had "sewn edges") than what I could buy locally. I found an almost IDENTICAL FLAG yesterday at Lowe's (1/2 in. shorter stick, but same cut edge flag), and paid only $1.58 each, plus 8.25% sales tax. PAID MUCH LESS FOR THE SAME PRODUCT. Wish I had known before I ordered that their product description was false. Probably returning, since I can buy the same cheapy flags for less. I had wanted something a bit nicer and longer lasting, and thought I had found it. That first reviewer who gave such a glowing review must have been shipped a completely different product.

The flag itself is a good quality for the price, but the stick is very flimsy and one of mine arrived broken. Mainly, this was due to poor packaging by Amazon. The flags were shipped rolled up and encased in plastic, which is a good thing in itself, but should have been shipped by themselves.

I needed a flag for the corner of my workspace, and opted to buy this one because the price was competitive (product + shipping cost). It turns out that the flag is attached to the stick via fabric loop that runs the full height of the flag. Since I was planning to hang the flag vertically, this worked perfectly since it also provided a boundary edge to use for attaching the flag while allowing the entire flag surface to be displayed.

Nice flag and good size for my needs, which is for outdoors. Keep in mind that the flag fabric is a type of stiff cotton and not nylon. Due to its' stiffness it will not wave in the breeze as nylon would.

The flags were reasonably priced. What we received is exactly what was shown on the website. The flags worked for what I needed them to. Definitely pleased.

JUST THE RIGHT SIZE AND PRICE. I USE FLAGS ON A REGULAR BASIS FOR MY FLOWER GARDEN AND ON MY PARENTS GRAVESITE. I HAD A HARD TIME FINDING ONES WITH LONG ENOUGH STICKS, SO THAT THE FLAGS WOULD NOT TOUCH THE GROUND. YOURS WERE PERFECT!! AMAZON, THANK YOU AGAIN FOR HAVING JUST WHAT I NEEDED.

Best I've ever seen of smaller American flags. You go to local store and they sell junk ones made in China for a dollar or more. The gold topped spear is very sturdy as is the wooden "stick" as I push them into the ground and they don't break. The flag is very bright. I have 30 of them in front of my house. The price is unbelievably inexpensive as well. Next Spring I plan to buy 100 of them for the whole Summer.July 2014 update: VERY IMPORTANT. I purchased 50 of these in 2013 for $30 as they were 59 CENTS each. The manufacturer is now trying to rob you blind, DO NOT BUY THIS as you will get ONE flag for $7-8!!!!!!!!!!!!!
