Trying to stay cool and "cool"...
I can only give it 4 stars right now because we just got it and I am not sure it is going to hold up for very long. My son started high school this year and to our dismay, it is apparently not cool for boys to carry a lunch box. Not even the solid color, very plain LL Bean kind that we have used for years. We did the paper bag thing a couple of days but of course there was no way to keep his drink cold etc... I found this product and figured it was worth a shot. It arrived earlier than expected and looked exactly like the picture. Still not sure how we feel about the black thing on it but other than that, we are both pretty happy with it. He reported that several kids liked it and one told him to ask his mom where she got it. That to me, is success!8/25/14 - UPDATE - Apparently someone REALLY liked it because it was stolen from his backpack at school today. I came back to order another one and I see the price has gone up $6.30 and now the ad says "Will Ship in 3-5 Weeks". Seriously Amazon?!

Looking for a fun bag?
I like to send my kids to school with unique reusable lunch bags. This one is flimsy (okay because kid is in high school). It’s pretty big- it can fit two thermoses, forks, a drink, two fruits and a snack! And that is perfect for my 200 lb football player! The magnetic “latch” does not work, so the bag doesn’t close. That’s really my only issue with the bag.

I like it.
It’s a cool looking bag. It’s the right size for me, when I work 8 hours and doesn’t take up a lot of room. I can fit a rectangular Tupperware, soda, bars, and another small container.Since its not like a zippered top, or really have a secure way of closing the top. I wouldn’t put too much stock into the insulation properties.

Ok…
Very thin and flimsy. I have a similar lunch box but it is much sturdier. I was hoping this was more like that.

Seems worth the money for my HS son
This is a good alternative for my high school son. He takes lunch everyday including a water bottle. Which sweats through paper bags and makes a mess. So far it is holding up. I know people said the magnets stop working but honestly my 16 year old does not fold it ‘just so’. If it lasts half the year I’ll be happy. Girls get cute lunch boxes but boys get picked on if they have just a plain lunch bag. So this is perfect. I do wish the logo was not on it though. Again just for high schoolers.

Perfect for my high school kid!
Apparently lunch boxes are 'out' and too 'dorky' and bulky to jam in your backpack. I had been using random bags but they we always too thin, or random sizes, etc. This is perfect. He says it isn't 'crunchy' sounding so he can open it up during class discretely to grab a snack. It has somewhat of a insulating lining so a thin ice-brick will definetely help keep things cool a bit. And it is just the right thickness to crunch up a bit yet have a bit of firmness to maybe prevent some of the sandwiches from getting 100% munched up. My favorite... this morning my son was put his name on it in Sharpie marker. Then he continued with various personalized doodles. This would be great for someone who wants to fully design their own lunchbag. Haven't washed it yet. Hope that goes well because all else is perfect.

NOT Waterproof/Spillproof
My coffee spilled through the bag and broke.

It's awesome
This is the 2nd Brown Paper Lunch Bag we have purchased. The first one was about a year ago. It was used every school day by my son who was a 7th grader when we bought it and is now an 8th grader. The first bag was put through the wringer: thrown, crushed, folded, or crumpled every school day (and then some camp in the summer). Finally, the insulation material began to tear, but the outside is still intact, although we lost the function of the magnet long ago. (which didn't impact its function at all). This bag is worth the purchase price to me if I can save all of those paper bags from being used and discarded---not to mention, my son would have had a hole in each real paper bag even before lunch every day.

Cute lunch bag
Got this for my son who is too cool for lunch boxes/ bags. Good size, works well, only problem was after a while the magnet no longer works to keep it closed

Good size, nice idea but quite bulky
Great idea, looks pretty and does the job. My only problem with it is that the top half doesn’t squash down flat so it takes up more room than necessary in my rucksack which is annoying

Best. Bag. Ever.
This thing is amazing. The day it arrived, I literally went around showing everyone and they were almost all as excited about it as I was.I love things like this - I love the paper lunch bag ideal, I love the American idea of brown paper grocery bags (make one of those next??), so as soon as I saw it I had to have one.It doesn't look that large when it's folded up but it actually expands to a very reasonable size (put it this way, if your lunch doesn't fit, you're probably taking too much). I've managed to fit a couple of tupperware boxes in there, along with a few pieces of fruit and a bag of crisps. The magnetic top is genius and even though the whole thing looks a bit rough around the edges, it isn't. It's very sturdy. The only quibble I have is that, when full, it's not always the easiest thing in the world to carry as the more you have in it the less room you have for purchase. That said, well worth the cost to have something unique and really fun.

Looks a great lunch bag.
The lunch bag looks really good, it's quite soft to the touch but apparently washable. It's a gift for someone, so haven't been able to try it out! Great idea though, would suit guys or ladies.

Reminds me of simpler times
It’s a lunch bag and keeps my lunch together. Many comments from others saying that it was nice.
