I work in the spray foam insulation business. Working in an attic with the protective gear on in Texas is unbearably hot! With the comp cool vest on, I went three hours and barely broke a sweat!

Phenomenal! Unbelievable comfort. This doesn't need a long review. If you want to stay comfortable in high heat situations, buy it. You might want an extra battery to ensure you get a full day out of it.

Do you want to stay cool at a reasonable price? Buy this.It's not perfect. The internal reservoir has a strange closure, and will probably leak on you at some point. The batteries last about eight hours, but the ice packs only last 2-3 hours, so you'll need to swap them out with some regularity - And Compcooler doesn't appear to sell extra ice packs on amazon yet. Personally, I'd love a larger backpack with 3-4 times the ice.The backpack material started to give around one of the holes. Not a major issue, but the holes could use reinforcement.The vest itself is a bit scratchy due to the cooling tubes being sewn to the inside. But it was easy to flip the vest inside-out, and now the nylon mesh is nice and smooth against my skin.But honestly? These are all minor quibbles. This product could use a few improvements, but it's already worth 5 stars. There's nothing else at this price point that can cool you off so quickly and comfortably in a hot environment. It works, works well, and is several hundred dollars cheaper than anything else similar on the market. If you need to be cool, buy this thing.

It works, with ice pack and ice water it lasted about 4 hours walking around an outdoor festival in 100+ degree temperatures in south texas. When i got cooling system it was not working, i had to take apart pump and blow out the inlet line with air to clear a blockage but customer service was very responsive and helpful and agreed to send me a new pump just for my trouble and in case i damaged something repairing it. Would recommend this product, however it is a bit restrictive to movement and balance so working in it will be unpleasant but when its 100+ working on an oilfield location the comfort given with cooling will outweigh the uncomfortable backpack.

If you are thinking about buying this don"t, just do it you will absolutely LOVE this. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I absolutely HATE the heat and this unit definitely kills the heat for me. It is like having a personal AC unit on you at all times. It honestly works fantastic. I use it mainly for riding the motorcycle in the 100+ degree temps here in the hot sun of TN in the summertime. When it is over 100 degrees and you go by someone with a full riding jacket on that I normally ride in the winter with, people look at you like you are plum nuts and figure you are sweating your head off but you are riding cool as a cucumber. I know they use these at disneyworld in orlando while they are wearing the various costumes and it keeps the person inside nice and cool.I know cause I used to work there.

Fantastic. seller very responsive to questions too. I fine the sizing chart 1 soze off. im 40 chest so the m-l fits me better then the l-xl.When freezing the green bag, fill to the 2 liter mark or the 1.75 mark, seal and place it in freezer with the air bubble under the 2 ports.This allows the 2 ports not to be frozen and room to add water to the max line so it just enough water to circulate right away. (if the vest is new, purge the vest by filling the bag with just water and run for 5 min first) On a 90 degree day my cooling temp was 64 degrees on my skin. yes felt a lot cooler. It works great. The ice lasted 2+ hours. if I need more time, i would have gone and gotten Ice to put in the bag and continued. the battery should last 6 hr. I have not tested that yet. I'll repost when I do

Previously, I would have given this three stars; it cooled decently well, although only enough to take the edge off the heat and didn't have the capacity to keep me comfortable. But now, after just three months the plastic water bladder has cracked and leaks in several places, rendering it unusable.

I ride a Ducati v4 and in the traffic of Seattle it gets HOT. This cooling vest really helps. Only thing I would suggest to the manufacture is to make a backpack option that is larger so you can carry things along with the system.I have had this for a month now and I love it.
