Great concept but poor construction
Made very cheaply. Holes were drilled crooked did not assemble properly. This is way too expensive for how cheaply it's made very disappointing! Great concept but poor construction. It is also packaged horribly. When it arrived from UPS the Box was shredded and everything inside the box was all-over the place all the Styrofoam had broken. It was scratched. I can't believe I paid over $60 for this. 😯

Good price, expect cheap materials though.
I use this product for my fishing poles. It will not hold 15 of my fishing poles, if I leave the reels on them. I like this product because it does the job- it holds rods in a organized manner. However, I was a little disappointed. The wood is a laminate, I should have done a little more research. On the laminate that goes around the edge of the bottomdisk did not match up and it overlapped with glue visible. The black pole in the middle is made of metal. The knob on top was wood, I believe. The knob was painted black, you could see light brown as some spots were not painted. The rubber clamps that hold the poles on the top disk are rather flimsy, although they do hold them in place. I could see them falling out with little force. It also is a bit hard to line up the clamps with the circles where the butt of the pole goes, it tends to move back and forth. Overall, it works. It is cheap, so expect a cheaply made product. It is not like those you might find at a store such as Turner's or Bass Pro Shops. I would buy it again though. I don't need anything fancy.

Very poor quality
This is a very poor quality product. The top part os the rod holder is very low and for jigging rods the clamps will not be in the blank ad the very weak clamps will not hold at all. The position of the rods are very close, which dos not allow to put two rods with reels side by side. This is by far the worst product I've ever bought from Amazon.

Upgrade your Rod Rack
I knew the shortfalls of this rod holder when I bought it. Other buyers had pointed out that the rubber rod holders were terrible. Pull one rod out of the rack and two others fall on the ground. I did a quick, easy fix. Buy some #32 rubber bands (cheap) and a pack of "S" hooks from HomeDepot (less than $5). The "S" hook size needs to be big enough for your biggest rod to fit in it. Take a pair of scissors or wire snips and cut off 1/4" or so of each side of each of the rubber holders (basically make the opening on each rubber holder big enough so that you don't have to use your fingers to spread it when you put a rod in the holder). Take a rubber band and loop-knot an S-hook to it. Put the rubber band over the top center post and then hook your rod in place. Fast, easy, cheap ... and now the rods all stay in place until you want one.

Feels smooth
Well I wasn't sure what I'd get but this appears to be a nice sturdy rack.It looks very nice and the oak finish looks like it's solid wood althoughi'ts veneer. The clips to hold the rods at the top are plastic and kindaseemed cheap at first, but I think they are going to work out fine.I suspect that this will hold about 10-12 rod/reel combos without toomuch trouble. I like to spin it around slowly and look at my rods dreamily. Gentlycaressing the rods with each pass, I remember the moments I hadwith each rod landing impressive crappie, saugeye, walleye, bluegill, smallmouth, etc... I daintily sniff each rod as it passes secretly hopingto catch a subtle whiff of lake erie perch. Soon I will dual-wield theserods like true champion of the world and conquer many hordes offish and leave there dismembered carcasses strewn all over my immediatesurrounding area and other anglers will look at me and know that I am the fish king.

this is a good product other than a couple of the rubber pieces ...
this is a good product other than a couple of the rubber pieces on the top circle won't close tight enough to keep the poles from fallin out. Gonna contact the maker to see about gettin replacements. Other than that it is fine. No problem with assembly at all. Love the look of it.

Poorly Manufacturerd!
This product is a piece of junk. Veneer on base is bumpy and poorly glued. Screw on part 4 which is base pole is so crooked It cannot even be assembled without the whole unit standing crooked. This was a Christmas gift that shipped on Oct. 31. Just one day of being covered under the return policy. Don't buy!,

Nice item to keep rods organized
This item arrived in a package that had obviously been through some "abuse". The wooden parts had crushed the Styrofoam inside, which did it's job in protecting the wooden parts. However, a number of the round black cushion pieces where the base of your rods rest were dislodged and found in various places within the box and since they had adhesive on the bottom of them, they had Styrofoam stuck to them so they would no longer adhere. It wasn't a huge problem, I just applied some glue to each of them and re-seated them into their positions. The unit was very easy to assemble and will work nicely for holding some of our son's rods. If you have large saltwater rods, you probably will not be able to use all 24 slots, as I suspect there would not be enough room with the large reels on them.
