If there is difficulty installing the scissor mechanism to 'click'- there maybe debris/ dirt in the key space or it may be misaligned. I found it helpful to hold the left end of the clip down with tweezers and 'open' the scissor mechanism for key placement from the other end with a thin credit card. I got the left and right arrow keys and both fit perfectly. Identical quality to the original mbp keys and work just as well.

Apple wanted to charge me 200+ (with Apple care) for a replacement because they supposedly do not carry individual key pieces and intended to change my entire keyboard. I found that absurd, so I came here and bought this piece. The first one I bought (different company) broke because I was too rough. This time around I bought from here and was gentle with the piece, using a pushpin to elevate the sides of the scissor key. It slid on quite smoothly, the whole process on my own took less then 5 minutes. Definitely a great purchase, saved me a lot of headache!!
