I bought a charming egg-shaped lamp with a paper shade from the Museum of Modern Art in December. It provided a pleasing soft light and small size to add a bit of light to a dark corner. It came with a small incandescent globe light that burnt out within a month. This LED light is the perfect replacement. The light bulb is not visible so the shape and appearance of the bulb does not matter. The light is reasonably bright in a warm spectrum and best of all it does not emit much heat. Heat in a mostly enclosed paper shade would be a problem. The light is on most of the day. I am very happy with the purchase. It came quickly and the paper packaging of the bulbs provided good protection against breakage in transit.

I used this LED bulb to replace the interior halogen bulb inside my over the range microwave oven. So far so good! No melting, no flickering. This Edison LED bulb did largely decrease heat while it was working. The thermal fuse located at the top panel of my microwave oven always has very short life due to the heat the halogen bulb generated while cooking food for longer heating time. Therefore I have to replace the halogen bulb with LED bulb to decrease the heat generated during heating. I ever used SMD LED bulb and it quickly melted after two weeks just like other users reported in reviews. So what its advertisement said is true. Edison LED bulb indeed is the only LED bulb that you can use for high temperature working environment such as the inside space of microwave and conventional oven. By the way this LED bulb does not always light on even after you closed the door like other users complained in their comments. I think that is related to the internal electrical circuits design of your microwave oven. My microwave oven is Samsung ME18H704SFS/AA (56lb, 1.7KW). The last point I want to pointed out is the thermal fuse has not burn out yet so far after I replaced the halogen bulb with LED bulb. I did measure the temperature difference of the top panel of my microwave using a mug cup of water cooking for two minutes. Halogen bulb after heating for 2 minutes: 73C. Edison LED bulb after 2 minutes heating: 26C. The temperature difference caused by using different light bulb inside microwave oven is even larger if your heating time is longer. Based on my experiments I do believe that using halogen bulb inside your microwave oven is the major reason that your thermal fuse on top panel of your microwave oven was frequently broken when your microwave oven started aging. My microwave oven has 4 thermal fuses all located at different region of back inside of oven. Only the top one that nearby the location of halogen bulb has frequently broken.

Great bulbs out of the box. No trouble at all and nice warm white light. Three months after screwing in the bulbs and one of them flickered for a while until it went very dim and stayed dim. I like the bulbs except for the whole not working anymore thing. Incandescent bulbs last longer than this.——-I was outside the return/refund window and received great communication and a full refund. Already ordered another pack of two because I liked them so much, and the seller gave me the full refund anyway. Upgraded from two stars to four. Thank you!

The bulbs were what I ordered and needed for lights on the bottom of my over-the-range microwave. The light has a high and low setting. Problem was when I went to low the lights flickered and wouldn't stop. They worked fine on high. It is an older microwave and maybe newer microwaves will handle the LED bulbs.

Update (Feb 2020): Vendor gave me a full refund for the lamps that only lasted 6 months. They asked that I give them another try, which I have... The second set is performing well, as the first set did. I will let you know if they last any longer... At this point I am happy again.--------------------------------------------(Jan 2020) I bought these in Jul '19... looking for something dimmable... low power consumption... with a light that didn't cut you when you walked in to get a glass of water at say 4 am... I was super happy with this product initially. Okay so the dimmable part had a little flicker to it, but the product information warned of this, so 5 stars for honesty. Anyway the light was softer then other brands I had tried and the bulbs didn't generate unwanted and energy wasting heat. I was happy... until... Jan '20 just six months later and the bulbs are so dim you won't know they are on unless you walk in to get a glass of water at say 4 am... and then you will still have to turn on the overhead to find a glass. They just didn't last like I had hoped. Ten dollars for the pair I would have expected a few years of service from an LED. I am not ready to go back to incandescent so I am not sure where I go from here. Anyway... they were really nice while they lasted... they just didn't last long enough...

Came quickly. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. Though more toward the inexpensive. Happy with the purchase.

These worked great at first…we put up with the flickering at half power but at first, but when one of the bulbs completely died within 2 years, that was my clue that these were not the quality bulbs I thought. We are switching back to incandescent bulbs.

At $7/bulb they are a tad pricey, but it's crazy how far LED tech has come. It looks way better than the incandescent it replaces, and still has that warm color. Can't speak on longevity yet obviously, lol.

Obviously easy to fit. I was expecting slightly brighter light .... but I ordered soft white so I cannot complain ... don’t get hot and don’t flicker on dim setting on the microwave so all good so far. If I order again I will go for the daylight ones.

I wanted to use these as range lights in my over-the-range microwave oven. There are 2 settings: full brightness, and half-brightness. At full brightness these bulbs are bright, warm and comfortable to use. At half brightness, I feel like I'm going to have an epileptic seizure from the very obvious flicker. So disappointing. I guess it's a product of the LED technology, as I've tried other LED bulbs with the same results. Wife says to take them off immediately. Now we're back to using regular incandescent bulbs that burn out every 3-5 months. Lame!

Bulbs worked well until one burnt out. Started flickering, then went dim for a day then nothing. 6 months old, Back to incandescent as LED's just don't do it . Zero customer service.

Replaced my original bulbs a few weeks ago and so far I'm still satisfied. They're much brighter than traditional bulbs with a fraction of energy cost. Color is nearly as warm/yellow as a standard halogen so it's hard to tell they're LEDs and they match the rest of the kitchen's lights. Time will tell if they're as durable as they claim to be but so far so good.
