Finding the right one for the user is key! The 2 ball sounds right for this player because of her size and age (coordination, experience and maturity are also factors with kids). Generally the 1 Ball is for 10 & U. The 2 Ball for bigger kids, many women, smaller men, less experienced players, those with real serve issues. It's also great for ground strokes. The 3 ball is really for more advanced players, men (only because they tend to be taller and stronger) but many women use it, too. The 3 ball is the longest and heaviest of the units so the most difficult to handle. The 2 ball is most "universal". Anyone can use it and get great results
