I have been buying Fiskars Easy Action Micro-tips for years since I tried my first pair. I've always liked them, but even more so in recent years as my hands have started developing arthritis. The spring action means you only exert half the effort it takes to open and close traditional lever-action scissors, and the lack of the otherwise necessary finger loops means no more sore fingers and thumbs if you have lots of cutting to perform. Depending on how often I use them and what I am using them to cut, they last a remarkably long time. However, I do use them quite often, and I like having several pairs in various craft kits I keep packed for specific crafts and classes. Despite their fine engineering and quality, they will wear out at some point, so I have had to replace them occasionally. That is what drew me to these was the titanium coating on the blades. I use titanium coated sewing needles and have concluded that they stay sharp longer than standard steel needles. Though I have bought the Easy Action Micro-tips at stores like Joann Fabrics and Michael's, I have not see the titanium blades available at those retailers. So far, I like these enough to have bought a couple of extra pairs; only time will tell if they last longer than the regular ones.

Extremely sharp and robust. Can manage to make precise cuts. I would have bought before had I known!
