Maybe worth the cost
Good productMost eye doctors recommend Luten to ward off micro degeneration. They say ‘may work ‘ may not but worth the cost of covering “maybe”

My doctor says these can give me a few more years before blindness sets in. There are no good treatments for MD so these give them more time to find one!

NOT FOR RP!!
My sister and I have Retinitis Pigmentosa. Her doctor suggested that this supplement might be helpful. She suggested I try them too, and my doctor felt that it shouldn't hurt to try them. When I started taking these, I felt like my eyes were not responding well. Because my sister had been taking them longer, I offered my partial bottle. Because they are quite pricey, she was confused why I would stop them and give them away. When I explained that I felt that it was making my eyes worse, she became upset and said that her eyes had gotten worse too, but she never thought to attribute it to anything specific. Here we are, nearly four years later, there is a new report frim the Foundation for Fighting Blindness "New Report: Vitamin A Supplementation Provides No Vision Benefits to RP Patients", that states that AREDS2 should not be taken by RP patients. Basically, because it's all E with no A, it's actually harmful to RP eyes. I'm simultaneously feeling both validated and violated. I get that science changes and new things are learned, but good God. This is a far cry from what it's advertised to do.
