Linkosuo Varrasleipa Crispy Rye Bread Finland

Due to inadequate packing, the varras leipa arrived broken into small pieces. On my previous order, it was carefully boxed, but this time it was simply placed in a bag. Although the product is delicious, it requires better packaging.

We've always called it "hard tack" or näkkileipä -- and it's the real thing from Finland. Arrived in only 6 days, not the several weeks that were predicted. ...Spread with good real butter, and I can eat it all day long. These are big rounds, that, due to shipping, break into many smaller pieces in the mail despite the excellent packaging; but I would be breaking the rounds into pieces anyway. As with all crisp breads, store in an airtight tin. HIGHLY recommended

Hard to find in the States. My wife is from Finland, so this is a welcome taste of home!

I love this crisp bread. I put many different toppings on it (cream cheese and tomatoes, melted cheese with pizza toppings, butter and peanut butter and or jam.) It is low calorie and low in carbohydrates.
